Extending the Founder eligibility was fair, to an extent. Maybe the end of the month is too far, but it definitely needed to be extended. Plus, everyone that paid for premium is getting an extra 30 days of Elite Premium, so I wouldn't complain. If they release more DLC during those extra 30 days, it's a bonus.
Also, along with guaranteed Founder status, we received a $10 discount on our first year of CoD Elite. If someone wants to pay $50 for a year of Elite before this month ends to get Founder status, then give it to them. They're paying an extra $10 for something that people who bought the Hardened Edition already received, minus the "******* New Journal", Founder card, and Juggernaut outfit.
As for pre-ordering, yeah, MW3 didn't come with any pre-order bonuses. Not every game does. I know I didn't get any pre-order bonus when I bought Skyrim. Same packages as MW3: Buy the game itself or buy the "Collector's Edition" which came with other physical and in-game bonuses.
You do realise the Founder Status was simply a very clever marketing ploy to get the.....shall we say....below the games age players to buy Elite early right?
You will find that not one adult has complained about it, and by adult i'm going with over the age of 25.
You get the DLC for cheaper, so either way you're a winner
Stop complaining, its really getting old now, they have updated you with what's going on.
Now pick your dummy up, re insert it, and shhhhh
