How does this game make you feel?

Thesandman

I enjoy playing MW3 quite a lot and i ignore what most complainers talk about, but lately playing this game is putting me in a bad mood. I curse, shout, and generally act like a pr**k. Funny thing is im quite a passive peaceful person, but im finding this game brings out the worst in me. I wasnt like this with Black ops or any other games and wasnt like this until the last few days. My wife even thinks im more agressive.

Do any other people feel this way??

The answer to the title for me would be: robbed.

At least D-ick Turpin wore a mask. Activi$ion may as well employ a gang of muggers.

  • Re: How does this game make you feel?

This game makes me excited, happy, angry, furious, sad, disappointed, cheated and tricked

    Pissed Off

Mainly from cheap Instakilled via LAG...

"Edited" after thinking about this question i had to come back to it... i feel used and abused.. i feel like ive let myself down knowing how bad Lag Compensation was in B/Ops..i really thought MW3 was going to put everything right and be the gaming answer i was hoping/looking for but it clearly was'nt.. its not just the game breaking issues that has brought me to my answer.. its the support from the developer.. theres no conversations anywhere..no live chats with respectible game players and the stealth clown.. its just answers that the developers want to answer.. like i said i blame myself for puting up with it !!!

It makes me feel like the video industry has reached a plateau and will now begin its uncontrollable downward spiral.

Being spoiled with HD and it seemed 5 years ago things where getting exciting.

Now it's just recycled drop now patch later and milk every dollar possible from the consumer while saving as many dollars as possible, like no dedicated servers.

    Recycling is the norm now.

Battlefield vs Medal of honour? Seems like the same game to me.

    Cod . . . .

Ea Sports 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 and so on. At least EA tries to be innovative in the sports games.

  • Re: How does this game make you feel?

I come away from the game mostly frustrated and a bit miffed. The poor support and cheap tactics in this game will do that to most players.

you know that dirty feeling you have after you had sex with that chubby girl down the hall, that's how this game makes me feel

If I was upset with Black Ops there was the trusty old dolphin dive to cheer me up. Nothing like watching an enemy's killcam show you diving through a window or off a building, landing on your stomach, grunting, then getting killed. To me that never got old.

Nothing funny with MW3. MAAAAYYYBE an enemy tripping a claymore and flying 15 feet through a doorway... MAAAAAYYYBE. Nothing like the Dolphin Dive, though.

Its gotten to the point where my clan thinks im nuts, i seriously go berzerk over this stupid laggy peice of cow dung they call MW3. More like MW -1. Its so dissapointing that just because Microsoft has to buy out activision so they can make this complex game work right on a inferior peice of crap console... PS3 gets no help from the developers, it all goes to xbox. If it was the other way around this game would be so sick its not even funny... If they actually put some time and money back into the millions of fans who prefer playing on a good console, and who pay them billions of dollars just to be put on the back burner, I guarantee it would be even better on ps3 then it is on xbox now...

The game is extremely fun when you do well, and extremely frustrating when you fail. When I have a good connection ( which is most of the time, I don't really get the people complaining about that, BO had a worse connection) I can do pretty well and I have a lot of fun in this game. Way more fun than I had in black ops.

I feel as if I was completely hoodwinked and fraud was commited against me. They sold this game on how badly alot of people reacted towards Black Ops and how people liked CoD4 and MW2. Hence the constant spew of its going to be like those two games.

This game looks like MW2, has some feel of CoD4 but performs just like Black Ops. Utter disgrace to the Legacy of Infinity Ward. I have things that I like, yet the performance of this game is a complete failure of GOOD STANDARDS AND PRACTICES...

  • Re: How does this game make you feel?

This game makes me feel nothing anymore, already sold it. Skyrim makes me feel happy now.

  • Re: How does this game make you feel?

    Bored....

  • Re: How does this game make you feel?

Ashamed, as it's increasingly more obvious, that it's become my primary addiction. I've been lying to my close ones about it for a good while now, but they see through it,

    in silence.

It's not as retard friendly as mw2, I shake my head every time I pick DC pro, only noobtube with the thumper and my gun (usually the tar) and end up leading a lobby by only using explosives in a "fps" and I get even more powerful harries / pavelows with DC Pro, lmao. Then I get commando'ed and feel I actually didn't play as cheap as that MLC ump f-cker.

Point streaks and specialist make mw3 very fun, the better hosting, matchmaking (long <50 pings searches) and picking a good host gets, the better this game gets.

The game is designed to up your adrenaline and the constant rewards will trigger a dopamine release in the brain.

Now Amphetamines work in the same way, remeber the doc in the newspapers on MW2 a few years back where he claimed 2 hours of gaming was like a line of Cocaine .

It is a silly comparison but if you know a little bit about brainchemistry you´ll at least know where hes coming from...

I'm the exact same way with this game. The problem is with the lag compensation. It makes you feel like everybody else is cheating and has an unfair advantage over you. It's this constant torment that slowly drives you mad one bullshit kill at a time.

Those BS kills used to happen once out of every 20 or so deaths in MW2. In Black Ops things started to fail with about 5-10 out of every 20 deaths being lag comp BS kills. Now in MW3 its about 15 out of every 20 kills and it makes the game an absolute chore to play.

It's not fun getting killed over and over and over again just because the enemy has a worse ping than you and the incompetent developers thought it would be a good idea to add artificial lag to people who don't live in third world countries or steal their internet from the trailer next door at the same time that he's streaming the best of american gladiators on his PC.

Basicly, thank you Activision for killing my favorite video game franchise with your artificial high end connection crippling bullshit.
