BO2 EMBLEMS

i reckon emblems should not be like black ops one because some of them are just to jhard to make and i think its funner to try unlock emblems instead of makeing them

A title card is all we need - no emblems at all.

Whaaaaat? No Way! Black Ops 2 should have emblem editor because it's fun to create not just earn titles?! God your so wrong.

Agreed aodhan567. AsX_Obliterate not to be rude but do you lack so much creativity that you can't put two simple objects together?  circle and triangle =  tear drop(even then they offer a tear drop as a single layer). Catch my drift? its so easy even my 4 year old nephew makes cool things and hes just puts random things on top of each other. If you can't manage making a simple emblem then maybe you should'nt be playing CoD and you should be focusing on other things

      • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

Agreed! It was really fun, not hard at all!

Yeah bro, that was one of the greatest things from BO.

Thank you, my point to. I spent hours making emblems to be proud of.

That's your reasoning for keeping out custom emblems... "some of them are just to jhard to make"?

    Welcome to the forums...

There will be "cool" kids with "mature" emblems so no.

But would like my own emblem

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

COD is filled with 12 year olds. Nobody wants to give them an emblem creator, even though it is awesome.

    • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

You could use the report button in BO if there was an offensive emblem. Also not all 12 years old boys do in mature emblems some of them are creative, just sayin.

i think they should give you a option to make your own with photoshop like i do

I, for one, liked the Emblem editor. Like everyone else, I was sick and tired of the juvenile Penis emblems and ridiculous Swastika emblems, but I was also impressed by the creativity and uniqueness many members of the community. Think its too hard? There are a wealth of resources on YouTube about how to create certain emblems, very easy to follow. I used them to make some pretty fantastic emblems, including my current one, which I will never go back and change. In fact, I would like to see them expand it so that you could save your favorite emblems in a file and switch them out when you wanted to, rather than having to take one down completely and start a new one. I think it was a conversation starter in rooms, and also told you everything you needed to know about certain opponents.  A lot of times I could tell by their emblems what sort of player and person I was going against. Wasn't always true, but you'd be surprised. I am all for more customization and fun in MP.

I think there should be a mixture, have a Emblem AND title creator for people who like creativity and individuality. However for unartistic people (ie me) there should be pre-made ones so we can have them.

What I think is you have to purchase emblem editor and title editor instead of giving everyone it. All the 12 year olds with emblem creator is too big of a responsibility.

Make it 40 dollars tops. I know 40 dollars is expensive, but do you really want to see one awesome emblem and then the rest as a penis. Therefore if the kid buys it for 40 dollars and makes his emblem a penis, you can report it him and he'll get banned and it would be a waste of 40 dollars.

       Too hard to make .

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS
    infamy96797

your first post is about emblems being to hard to make. all the emblems you see in game or on youtube that look really cool take alot of time and creativity.  but yes they should have pre made ones to show off what challenges you completed.

i personally dont care if people make offensive emblems but what about an option to block the emblem images on your screen for the sensitive people

I like emblems and the creativity they encourage sans the rude ones.

Emblem Creator + Title = Demonhunt's best idea ever?

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

Yeah, and put some real creativity into it...not like MW3 that had practically three types reformed over again.

I think what we are going to end up seeing is support for ELITE's emblem creator without a native one. ex. You have to create it online and then it will show up on your playercard or next to your title or both. That is what im betting on instead of the native creator.

I thought it was awesome creating your own emblem.   There were alot of excellent emblems but I was so sick of seeing the pornographic ones I started reporting ever one I saw.   Ape-man, Pickle and cherries on every 12 year old and those were the tame ones.

Creating a player card was a real fun part of the game. It caused people to be creative and individualize themselves. If you don't have the emblem creator/editor then there is no way to stand out from the next person. It isn't hard to create an emblem unless your trying to create something extraodinary. Some peole have elaborate embelms that are really cool to see. Personally I look forward to seeing what some people come up with.

Why hate on the Emblem Editor?? Do you have no creativity at all? or do you just suck at putting things togehter. There is Youtube for help. People have tutorials on hings you can create. This one little feature had put alot of fun into the game. Youcan show off your creatiity or just have plain boring one. But its fine, its TreyArch, they willlikely have it

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

Maybe they could include both? I like the idea of challenges to unlock emblems, but also liked creating my own unique one. I havent seen anyone with anything like mine, and it brings a sense of pride. Maybe since they are revamping elite, they could make it to where you create your own on there and import it into it, and save it on elite to reuse it? Idk. I wont mind either of them coming back hoenstly, I like both.

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

I really hope emblem editor is back, and even if its not they better atleast have a thing to where you can edit the pre set emblems, as long as i can make my emblem juggernog then im fine

    • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

I loved it, but you cant get rid of immaturity. It's always there. I hate when everyone gets punished for things like that. Let it be, and if someone gets enough dislikes, they review it and look at it then banish their emblem editor on their account.

I like the emblem editor. Maybe they can have unlockable shapes or items to use for your emblem?

Emblems are fun at first, lots of people can capture their creativity.

but you also you have to think about all the perverts out there who make sexual emblems.

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

Treyarch is way better than Infinity Ward and the innovations Black Ops brought to the table blows MW out of the water!! If you can't make an emblem then just youtube it and you'll be able to create some pretty cool stuff! I only hope they don't ruin hardcore mode like MW3!!!

  • Re: BO2 EMBLEMS

The emblem creator in Black Ops wasn't that big for me. It was okay I guess, but when I saw a cool emblem in a lobby I wasn't that suprised and I didn't care that my emblem wasn't like theirs at all. I won't spend hours creating an emblem -.-, I would rather play the game and earn my emblems like in MW3 so that I can have something that is hard to get and that not a lot of people have. In Black Ops I see a lot of the same emblems: naked chicks, nazi signs, sonic or other familiar characters, ect.

Creating an emblem takes no skill, just time. Anyone can make a cool emblem if you sit down or browse on youtube for a cool design and trace it. People do ask me how I get my emblems on MW3 all the time and I hardly see any other players with the ones I use. The ones I use take hours of game time to acquire, not hours of time spent in my playercard. I would consider my self a collector and I would like to have different titles and emblems that I can swap out every week or two when I get bored of it and not lose the one I had. So that I can always come back to it. In my opinion I want to spend time leveling up and playing with my friends, NOT creating a cool emblem that no one is going to care about for more than a few minutes.

I liked the emblem creator. if you don't want to work to hard just stick with a one layer emblem. I liked to see the creativity despite some of the inapropriate emblems. I did think that putting it on your gun was going too far. it was just too many excess 1s and 0s that had to be sent back and forth.
