Glad I didn't buy the Season Pass....

goku1910

This game is a serious joke, even more than MW3 was after they ruined it with patches.  I will once again revert back to MW2 and deal with hackers because it's still more fun than this garbage.

What the Call of Duty Developers need to realize is that adding more crap to the game doesn't balance it.  The addition of Bouncing betties and a bunch of tactical equipement over the years have only made things worse because now you need to sacrifce your perks for the ones that will protect you from such things.  It's about time you made the game more streamlined rather than just cramming more into it.

What's even worse about Black Ops 2 is that it overpowers SMG's even more than before because now steady aim is an attachement.  I know they said perks no longer modify guns, but isn't the soldier aiming?  Not the damn gun.  Steady Aim should be a perk, not an attachment.  I'm so tired of SMG's having the advantage just like MW3.  Treyarch nerfed the SMG's by increasing the hip spread....wasn't enough because now everyone just put laser sights on and we're back where we started.  Shotguns are the same, cheap kills where all you need to do it press the trigger and the kill is handed to you on a silver platter.

Treyarch, you suck.  The fact that Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer/Raven did better than you is disappointing.  This was your shot to redeem yourself after the atrocious Black Ops PS3 launch, but this sucks just as much.

Rant over.

The "funny" thing to me is that they put more stuff in and yet the "good" options are far less than ever before. I had many different classes in BO while they all look the same in BO2.

PS: Compared to previous games all guns seem to have fairly increased hip-fire accuracy. You can spray with SMGs, yes, but it also works with assault rifles.

I don't agree at all. The Pick-10 system has so many variations, I feel I really need all 10 custom classes so I can adapt to the variations the enemy has.

the old systems had 14 to 15 "picks" the pick 10 system sucks compared to the other games

The Pick-10 system makes you think about your load-out more and lets you mix it up and tweak it in a better way than before.

all it did was give you the ability to take away the tacticals you never used, or take away that secondary for a broken knife so you can pick up someone elses primary even though the secondarys are stronger than half the primarys in this game.

and just spilt up the regular perks and some pro perks into attachments and gimped versions of what they should be.

i'd rather have the old system where it had 2 in 1 perk systems and i didn't need some stupid attachment over another one just so i can strafe faster, or reload faster and not stop dead cold when i aim down sights, or be forced to back off a bit because the reload isn't that fast.

and everybody doesn't use stock and fast mags so if you aren't running scavenger or can't go get those blue bags then your SoL you can't just pick up someone elses gun and keep the same strafe speed and fast reload.

all the pick 10 does is give advantages to people who go onlyusemeBLADE, or complete specialty classes.

other than that its a gimped version of the old system that works better who don't wanna specialize and just wanna play the game.

Actually, no. Go back to MW3 and you'll realize that you only get 11 things (12 with attachments) but without a proficiency and uselessness of the 3rd perk slot (in my opinion) I get the exact same loadout style I had in MW3, 3 attachments on my primary (5) a secondary (fhj-18 AA, only secondary I use)(6)

          hardline/ghost (9) and toughness or scavenger (10)

the pick 10 system is the reason i didnt want to buy this game. i am open minded and baught the game and gave it a shot. the multi player maps as they are , are decent but the ability to completely change your set up is really only an illusion. its the idea of choices that people like.

any one who really plays the game uses the old class setups. this game gives the cheaters an advantage.... i myself like the ability to have no secondary and run with a knife. problem is...the knife as a weapon AND as a melee suck and getting the kill is a crapshoot.

even sneaking up on enemies and getting a stealth kill....u roll the dice and may not get the kill befoe they somehow notice you and kill you. its wacky and unreliable so the only possible cool feature is bunk. i agree hands down that mw3 was even a decent challenge online, but if u had strategy you could do very well.

black ops 2 we have so much tech on the battle field it feels more like a "mario party" kind of game. killstreaks are rewarded to EVERYONE regardless of achievement. as a mw3 player playing bo2 is extremely easy and cheap kills are the name of the game. i miss fire fights and flanking snipers not dodging shock charges and unloading clips into people who have 5 perks or some rediculous hyper advantage.

Wrong.  You actually have to play the objective to get the good rewards for the most part.  And anyone who moans about players going 14-57348234723 killing them with a Stealth Bomber because they're one off a MOAB in Domination can play this game knowing that a "scrub" won't destroy their noob stomping.

no you don't you can sit in a corner with a target finder and a LMG and get 15, 17 kills.

and i'd rather have Mw3s easily aviodable stealth bomber to the billion ******* lightning strikes always killing me not even 5 secs after i spawn because it shows where people are spawning because of the UAV effect it has.

all you had to do to aviod the stealth bomber was get under something, you'd be hit by a shock wave for about 5 secs but that was hit, if you try to avoid those ******* lightning strikes you better find a bunker quick with the large blast radius it has.

The Lightning Strike was/is ridiculous for a low end streak but it's been nerfed a bit.  I do think the in-built UAV should be got rid of though or make it a higher reward, perhaps above an Orbital VSAT.  I often get triple kills with it in standard TDM so I imagine it's worse in Domination as killstreaks usually dominate much more in that game mode.  It's not the only streak that perhaps needs tweaking in fairness.  Dragonfire and EMP aren't worth the points required I feel.  K9 unit is only good against weakper players because I have no problem killing the dogs.  In BO1 I'd only be screwed if I was using the FN FAL without grip if they're a bit too close.

Stealth Bombers were avoidable to an extent but it always made me laugh that self-proclaimed good players moaned about them to no end.  When I played against good players in a party that chain up EMPs I use Specialist.  My only qualm with the SB was the shake it gave as it didn't help 1 v 1 engagements I had with enemy players when a friendly SB was called in...

The Lightning Strike does appear to be MW3's Predator Missile though.

the pick 10 system is pretty good, i have ghost/scavenger on every class cuz i tend to live long, but add cold blood against certain things. and sometimes add hardline.  it should be more like pick 11

almost all my classes have no perk 3 cuz engineer is the only one worth a damn, u cant hear footsteps even with awareness unless your playing SnD maybe where there isnt an explosion every 3 seconds that have the same volume level across the map as one going off next to you. (sticks and stones gets pretty annoying hearing boom boom boom boom boom boom when no one is even near you)
