It's funny we get a game in November but it isn't ready until August and September the following year.
I noticed with Black Ops 2 and MW3. I found that nerfs and buffs were being made really really far into the games lifetime. Now I know not everyone moves onto the next CoD when the new one is released but to an extent most of us will pick up the next CoD and then return to the older games if we want too.
But I do think the devs should put a date on when the last set of gun patches and equipment patches should end and then they should just focus on more technical things like spawns.
Fair enough if a DLC weapon comes out and they need to patch it but I think otherwise it should be mostly technical issues.
Because I noticed really major like in BO2 that we got a patch in September and it still had gun nerfs and buffs in it and quite frankly I think really that's too late.
