OK so by now everyone’s seen all the trailers and hundreds of YouTube vids explaining how the new perk system works. So let’s have a friendly debate on which one’s you think will be your top 4 and a few words to say why. Some links to aid your decision making.
A detailed perks-list can be found here:-
And this is an extremely useful perk calculator tool to download and aid your load-out choices:-
In no particular order here are mine:-
1. Off the Grid; A bit obvious, but staying off the radar has proven to be extremely useful in all CoD’s. (Especially as I only play Hardcore)
2. Cold Blooded; With 20,000 Soldier customisations, having no name tag and red crosshairs when targeted will confuse the enemy and let you get your shots in first.
3. Wiretap; Hacking the enemies’ radar to get the AUAV mode quicker, is a team winning scenario.
4. Quick Draw: Faster ADS means faster targeting, especially at medium to long range.
So there’s my top 4, which ones do you feel will boost your KDR and briefly say why???
I'm going to use these in a Run And Gun class
Marathon - Infinite Sprint
Sleight of Hand - Faster Reloading
Quickdraw - Faster ADS
Ping - Reveals Nearby Enemies After KIll
On the Go - Reload while Sprinting
Basically being 2 + 2 +2 +2 +2, so Lethal and Secondary is sacrificed
1.) Off the Grid
2.) Sleight of Hand
3.) Wire Tap
4.) Ping or the one doesnt show enemy skulls when you kill them, cant remember the name
(Providing points allow for those)
Ive not done too much research on them all.
I for one am extremely excited about marathon being back as unlimited sprint. I flank a LOT and unlimited sprint makes it much easier to get behind an enemy team or into an enemy spawn. So my top 4 would probably look like this:
2. Off the grid
4. Dead Silence
But I'm also excited about a lot of the new perks as well. Those will probably be my primary choices for my flanking classes though.
The problem we will have to face now is which perks to pick, as we’re spoilt for choice with the 35 to choose from. I guess having 10 Soldiers with up to 6 classes per Soldier will help? I also hear that you can switch Soldiers mid-game. So that will surely help as well as make things a lot more interesting!!!
Yep pretty much, I think it will take much longer than before for people to find the optimal class setups as well. Which is a great thing IMO. COD is always at it's best for the first month or so before people start using the same stuff. I'm hoping the variety of perks this time around will help extend that period a bit longer
I think and hope that with all the customisation in Ghosts the game will outlast any other CoD? And it has the potential to become the all-time best seller, still being played many years for now. CoD 4 has a special place in every CoD fan boys heart, if they would just release Mod tools, then we’d be set for the next 10 years!!!
