The reason why it shouldn't be rewarded is because well they seem to get there way in removing ALL counters to camping which is getting old Black Ops 1 was one of the best in balance because everyone could play not just the campers ever since then they have been getting their way and ruining the game I mean why should Sitrep Pro in MW3 counter Dead Silence when Sitrep Pro is a wall hack involving sound and it has a built in filter to get rid of team mate foot steps and gun sounds and the flash bang doesn't hurt them as much as it should? It makes no sense that Sitrep Pro doesn't have an actual counter when it's the strongest perk in the game you don't even need a UAV with this perk. If Amplify counters Dead Silence then it should lose it's filter and flash bang grenades should last twice as long regarding sound and the beeping sound should be twice as loud when hit by a flash bang that way it has an excuse to counter Dead Silence. Or better yet make it where Blind Eye counters it or they could even make it cost 5 points instead of 2.
You sure could just sprint, and that's exactly what I'll do. But this game is going to be rewarding skilless gameplay. It's simply just too boring to play that slowly, anyway.
I have to laugh at the hillarious dissonance you guys harbor. You tell me to shut up and deal with this aspect of the game (one which actually encourages slow play, btw), yet I see KTPhoenix has a thread on the front page we're he bashes like 8+ things he deems not worthy of his game. The kicker is half the **** he complains about requires skill to utilize well or is just not even a problem.

Your wrong, period. Sitrep can be used by lots of play styles. Its an excellent powerful perk. It needs to make dead silence a wash.
I have been a fan of both perks, and in MW3 I used both at the same time with specialist. The people that complain about them cancelling each other out simply want to run around and be completely safe without being aware of what's around them.
Black ops 2 did a horrible job of letting you find your foes through sound. Welcome back Sitrep, I look forward to another dimension of immersion, sound.

That is what it first sounded like; but it looks like they basically took BO2 token system and applied it to the game. Where if you have the squad points and are at the right level you can get what you want at that point. Sort of cross between BO1 and BO2 perhaps. Where in BO1 you could buy which ever you wanted once you got that level to unlock the item. No challenges to unlock certain things. like the perk challenges of the past or the attachment challenges of BO2.
