    Shotguns are so underpower

      IW please make the shotguns father range it's crazy that the farthest range is like 13meter come on a shotgun in real life would at least go 25meters.

                And while they're at it I'd like iron sights on my snipers, reduced sniper sway with Focus when crouched (a la MW3, whereas currently, standing or crouching is the same for Focus+snipers), and cater to every other demand by casual players who want advantages they don't realize won't give them any advantage when other players will be far superior to them using that advantage and their superior skills.

                In the most respectful way possible, I have to disagree.  Shotguns are made for dominating in extreme close range gunfights, and they do that job extraordinarily well.  I feel that anything out of that small range of effectiveness should require a weapon from the next range category, such as an SMG.

                  IMO, the shotguns in Ghosts are much weaker compared to Black Ops II shotguns.  The only somewhat consistent shotgun, in terms of range, is the Tac-12.  Other than that, the rest of them have nearly identical ranges and are quite inconstant.  The only shotgun you'll see people using often is the Bulldog due its rapid fire capability.

                   

                  PS - Slugs do improve range, but not by much.  If you want to see what slug range REALLY is, use the KSG from Black Ops II.

                    Disagree, I can maintain a high KD using shotguns. Another example of player vs the gun. Shotguns with the type of range you are talking about would destroy balance and be overpowered. Other cods like MW3 and Black Ops 2 had it wrong not this one.

                      Screw that! So worthless. How about a DLC that add the CoD:MW2 Model 1887's pre-patch along with the Terminator character skin, and every time you die you say "I'll be back!". Now there's an idea.

                       

                      Damn, maybe i should apply for IW. I would be hired immediately for my DLC idea's (not like i would have to think very hard lmao).

                            What i meant is that you should still hit markers at 25meters like 1 shot kill at up to 10meters the a 2shot kill at up to 15meters and a 3 shot kill at up to 20meters

                                Not every weapon needs to perform awesomely everywhere.  Shotguns do very well in a niche role.  If you want to play with them more frequently (and do well), play the Devastation DLC playlists; Behemoth seems like a map custom made for shotguns.

                                 

                                Alternatively, play Hardcore.  Put slug rounds and a red dot sight on a Bulldog.  Realize that you've just created a sniper rifle with a red dot sight and almost no idle sway.  Laugh maniacally.  Go tear **** up.
