Yea no sh!t , I like the quit game before it ends idea alot. BO1 was better. Only thing missing there was recording how many levels you survived. Alotta people lied about how long they could last and no way to prove it with out actual gameplay. So Dont take that away. I would like to see that Lil Emblem system of yours. How about a nice Turd Pile emblem for glitchers & cheaters. You can even have 4 levels of it. 1. Turd 2. Turd and stink fumes 3. Turd stink & flies 4. Golden turd stink and flies. we're all adults we can handle it..Lol !!!
Oh I thought this was a new conversation then saw the dates. Anyway my 2 cents; zombies is above survival, doesn't matter how many times you go down. It is the highest round you survived, that's why I prefer the BO way.
The other stats are nice to see but it really doesn't add any meaningful value to the bo2 rank.
Besides, bo2 rank is individualised. I don't see the point of this either as you can't compare one shottie to the next. I've played with many skulls who are more consistent and reliable than shotties.
I'm sure there are shotties out there who deserve the rank but there are also many who don't. It is the top rank and should represent an elite bunch of players. I would say I'm one of those shotties players. I'm more of a knife player. I just got shotties for grinding it out and improving my game over 6 months.
They should hand shotties to the top 1% of players, skulls the next 14% and the next 35% and so on.
As long as I can't max out rank in less than a week, then it will be an improvement. 10 ranks should be a minimum. Xp based, is time based, and time based is horrible. Horrible players who play a lot can be max rank then, and that defeats the purpose of a ranking system. Bring back lobby leaderboards, and expand them to include all stats, and add stats like knife kills, wonder weapon kills, tactical grenade kills.
Some simple formula would be great. Stats divided by downs divided by rounds.
