Instead of going that route, I'm going to just hook up a spare laptop and run it that way. I just need the proper adapter now because the TV doesn't accept vga. Which isn't a problem because its something that I'ld like to have the option to do anyway. Thanks.
What console do you own? You might be able to throw a snow video on to USB and play from there or play the video over your network.
I can't find a downloadable pattern that goes for a extended period of time other than a youtube vid that goes for 10 hours. I've never really used editing on my computer to loop it or anything. The TV actually has usb ports so I could probably bypass the console (360/One).
Is this absolutely insane or what? We are going into depth on ways to create snow/static/noise for devices that have evolved past this occurrence.
Golly gee wilikers.......... I don't even need to use the One. It has youtube on TV app menu. I have it playing now.
Now.............. the resolution doesn't look as clear as real snow. The pixels look clumped like Minecraft instead of sharp little high resolution pixels.
This thread is turning into the diary of a madman.
I do not find meaning to play something all pixelated square shaped. Im playing in this moment of course Call of Duty Ghost and think I will soon buy Warfare , Wolfenstein the new order and The last of Us (very long game bud amazing) and God of War Ascension i need to pick up where I left off , equal Gran Turismo 6
