Keep it clean. I suppose we can keep this going. Let's also try to stem away from as much unnecessary political discussion that we can. It leads to bad times.

EVANSVILLE —A federal judge today sentenced Larry Everett Hodge of Evansville to 115 years in prison on child pornography charges.
Hodge, 48, pleaded guilty to seven counts of producing child pornography, two counts of conspiring to produce it and two counts of distributing it.
“Part of the sentence must be a signal that the law is serious about this type of criminal activity and the penalty will be harsh,” said Chief Judge Richard L. Young, near the end of a 3-1/2-hour sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court at Evansville.
A federal grand jury indicted Hodge for photographing and recording an 8-year-old girl engaging in sexually explicit acts with him on at least seven occasions from April through November 2010. Two of the photo sessions involved Hodge’s wife, Emma, inappropriately touching the victim, according to court records. Two sexually explicit videos of the girl and Larry Hodge also were found, the indictment said.
Some of the images depicted sadistic abuse of the girl, according to court records.
Emma Hodge and George Jackson also have pleaded guilty to charges in the case. Both are currently scheduled to be sentenced June 19.
