I was have the same problem the vram just climbs until it crashes and says its out of memory.

Pc Specs:

i7 7700k

1080ti oc stix

16gb ddr4

250gb 850 evo

3tb +1tb wd black

I Updated my drivers on nvidia, restarted my pc and closed steam in the background. I can play full games now, but my VRAM NEVER drops down, it will just stop and then climb again, sitting right around 5100mb  (is this normal?)

I'm running an intel core i7 7700k 4.20ghz 8GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. Graphics settings currently well below the max at 1856MB / 2476 MB VRAM, and it's crashing before I can get into a multiplayer match. STILL no acknowledgement, when people have been having this issue since the beta? Unbelievable.

I think we all need to take this to Twitter and put them on blast. This is unacceptable.

Was getting the "out of memory" error & crash to desktop when i'd try to start a match, but now it just crashes without any message, anywhere between 10-20 seconds after launching the app. This isn't acceptable.

Hey everyone,

Sorry to see you are running into crashes of different kinds, but we are investigating these and reporting up information based on individual errors. That Reddit thread linked here by OP originally has a fantastic template for reporting these errors. Just to reitaterate that, please let us know the following:

Computer Specifications:

Windows version:
GPU:
GPU Driver Version:
CPU:
RAM:
Install Location:
SSD or HDD:

Issue Experienced:

Please include a detailed report of what is happening. Where your game is crashing exactly and if it is consistently doing so each time you try to play.

Troubleshooting Attempts:

If you can, please include what troubleshooting steps you have already performed to attempt to fix it.

Some common troubleshoot methods:

  • Scan & repair game files
  • Update GPU drivers, update Windows
  • Change page file settings - manual, automatic
  • Selective startup - disable all non-Microsoft services
  • Uninstall any programs that interfere with GPU - F.Lux, MSI Afterburner
  • Run standard Battle.net as normal
  • Run standard Battle.net as administrator
  • Run Beta Battle.net as normal
  • Run Beta Battle.net as administrator

We are absolutely interested in helping investigate and troubleshooting these. In the case we were cannot find any troubleshooting to help we'll report it up to so Treyarch can look into the error. Just let us know and thank you everyone who has already reported information.
