Switching to rocket launcher makes the game crash (PC)

As soon as i switch to my secondary rocket launcher (to shoot at an UAV) the game freezes. Happens every time, but only since i reached level 9.

All drivers up to date.

Ok, its completely reproducable: As soon as i switch to my secondary weapon rocket launcher the game freezes- every time. NOT the UAV was doing it, but switching to the anti air weapon. smh

I can confirm this happens to me in MP, level 9, when taking out my secondary launcher my game will hard crash.

It is a result of using any skin on the launcher. Either don't use the launcher, or use the default skin!

I've been having this issue for the past few hours - reproducable as mentioned in another post.

Going to try Corgi's solution and I'll post back with an update. Haven't been able to finish one round since.

EDIT: Can confirm that it only happens when a skin is equipped on launcher. Thanks Corgi!
