hacker websites

as a company for you protection and infringement rights...there has to be something that you can do to close down the hackers and cheaters websites....by not doing so you are encouraging hacks to proliferate your game and ruin it for pc gamers...there has to be something legally that you can do...why don't you do it

I wish they did and have something in place like a virus program does and if it sees suspicious stuff like hacks block them from playing.

For as much money as they bring in Activision should purchase ALL of the hacks from every single website, detect the hacks and VAC Ban the a-holes. Further, hire some of the talented Hack authors and figure out a good Heuristic Detection and do as I've been preaching all along as do others in this forum.

...and fix the frigging Edit for starters...

Easier said than done, and about the only hope I can think of is going on Copyright infringement; e.g. use of Logo's, etc. However, I'm no attorney and I'm not sure what other remedies are available. No doubt there's a clear violation of ToS to the End User but other than unethical (not a law) I'm all ears. Now if a 'Hacker' was disrupting services, stealing data, etc to the e.g. Activision's servers then yes there are clear laws regarding that practice. Illegal hacking hasn't slowed down the NSA.
