For the devs, can we all agree that...
Good? Settled? Can we pause this debate until after the Wiimote patch comes?
Apart from DA point no 3, I agree with that perfectly.
It's just the way of the world that using thumb sticks makes your characters aim more stable with aim assist on or off, as I recently found whilst testing.
The main point here is that they definitely need to do something about the Wiimote sensitivity, but that was obvious anyway!
Settled, I'm all for everyone else shaking hands and stopping their trolling of each other.
Otherwise, add me and I'll beat the crap out of you Wiimote style.
Can you also add that there's no "bigger damage area" for dual analogs? People keep seeing guys shooting thin air in killcams and think that's what actually happened.
they more consistantly get quick kills, mostly because they more conisistantly hit center of mass for full damadge, instead of arms and legs for a fraction of it. and more headshots for 1.4times damadge.
other possible stick aim? never seen anyone test this but does the game slightly redirect the direction your aiming while turning. for example someone is directly horizontal to the left of your aiming. you turn left and slightly up, enough to miss, aimassist redirects it to perfectly horizontal. anyone test for this kind of aimassist?
see direction fo lines path your ADS sight follows. not sure if this is a actual aimassist mechanism. but i do notice alot more center of mass hits with DA than wiimote, resulting in quicker kills.
direction of guy -----------------
your aim -
aimassist turns above to -------------------------. so you hit
I think i know what your getting at and as far as i can tell that doesn't happen (and it shouldn't really).
that one would be very hard to notice. and test for. since you need to be intentinaly off but barly off. with DA you wont know that persision to well.
also how does teh aimassist work against moving people.
