The game has been repeatedly hacked by the same people since December, and they haven't taken any action against any of their accounts.

Hackers this late in the game cycle actually help the bottom line for the new title.

You notice how this hack and the last one seemed to show up on Friday before a big weekend ?

Makes me wonder if MS really does have plans to hold off and ban peoples gamertag a week after they buy a new year of subscription

We wouldn't need to debate the issue if they just gave us some numbers.  But, for some reason, they won't.  My guess is they know the data would just prove what most suspect--that they do very little.

No community does. Issues like bannings and what not are kept secret. You will never know if action was taken. Its not just BO2 that does it. All games to my knowledge behave the same way

Could be, but they have released data on how many people have been banned before. But this isnt the first company to hide their banning numbers.

No offense but we are on the outside looking in. If they refuse to release numbers then that is their business. They dont owe us any numbers at all. I leave the "conspiracy theories" out when I am on the outside looking in.

Again , no offense meant. Just I dont think jumping on the "they are hiding something" bandwagon isnt the right way to go when they do have a privacy policy. Corporations are allowed to hold some secrets. Do we really need the total numbers when we see people posting "why was I banned" here and on the Xbox forums ?

No offense taken.

Of course.  They're a private company and can do (or not do) whatever they want.  But, there is a commonsensical element to not divulging some numbers.  If you stubbornly stay silent when there's no real reason to be silent, then people are going to assume that you have something to hide.

As far as the issue of privacy is concerned.  No consumer privacy rights will be affected by releasing simple numbers.

A few "why I was banned" here and there in these forums is hardly representative either way of how many real boosters are punished.

You sound like the type.  I'm guessing you don't know what common sense means.

Does the league play posts as a public match? 'Cause his elite page says:

"MoNsTr zAcH has not played any matches in the past 7 days."
