I think does as well. I fell into the idea that SMGs were dominant and heavily favored as did most people. But once you are able to see the huge impact map design has on weapon balancing then you start to understand that it's not the gun as much as the environment.
i am conviced that despite the lag and the campers and the other things that make this game a bad experience the one thing going for it is gun balance. this is a good and bad thing. good because it gives every player an even and fighting chance and bad because weapon specs and roles make no sense when i can dominate a sniper's long lines of sight with a pistol or take out a CQC beast like a sub-machine gun or shotgun with an AR. To most this does not seem fair. What i have come to understand in this game is that it received so much negative feedback the game has been patched and fixed and given so much attention to make it a more enjoyable experience.
