Anybody notice that the songs in zombie levels have start sucking after Black Ops 2 was released? In Black Ops 1, I loved the songs in both "Five", and "Kino Der Toten". They were catchy and upbeat, for one thing. Anyway they released BO2 and the first song we get is "Carrion". Now this song was a little unusual sounding, and at first I didn't like it, but its grown on me some. Plus it actually has real lyrics to it.
I think we can all agree that the song they chose for Die Rise is terrible. First of all, the only line in the whole "song" is: We all fall down, faaaaall down! that line gets old after 3 minutes. Also the song is just not musical at all, and sounds ugly.
The song in Mob of the Dead is very anti-climactic, I honestly can barely hear it over all the in-game noise. While this song was very fitting in the opening video for the level, I don't think its as entertaining while actually in the game.
I think it would be much better if they just made a couple deals with some REAL music artists. . . . . like maybe the one's they had in Black Ops 1. The song in Five was particularly catchy. Why can't they bring back that kind of style song again?
Here's a song that I think would be cool to see in a future zombies level:
Yeah I can agree with u on that. I don't think the zombie songs are horribe but they aren't what they used to be. My favs are on der riese, kino, call of the dead, and the hidden song on moon: Nightmare by A7X....I really want Elena and A7X to return
The song for five was written and performed by Eminem & P!nk! I love P!nk her music are... Pumpy! ( it's a word now )
Exactly. they ought to bring in some real artists again. I don't even care if the song's directly say anything about death or zombies. This song was great and is fun to listen to while playing.
The sound sounds like it could be for Die Rise.
Die Rise was part of the "Revolution" map pack. !
Dang I never even realized that lol. This actually sounds like a theme song for that DLC pack.
I like the song choice for MOTD.
Pretty relaxing from all the horror. Lol! .
I would like to say, personally, if there should be any music in a game for zombies, it needs to be metal. Whether its thrash, hard, heavy, or straight metal, the energy and adrenaline delivered is outrageously satisfying.
Ive been preaching these bands and im not ashamed of them, these bands seriously need to be heard in this game, all i do is listen to them while i destroy Earth.
They are the following: Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden.
These bands are only so great. However, i understand that the 'yes' needs to be from both the band and company. Still, i encourage the listening of these bands while blasting a zombie to putrid ash.
I love Mega and Metallica. But thrash bands is not something I feel like would suit zombies. I don't know why. Personally, songs have really sucked IMO in zombies, except the ones that's ere made by Eleina Siegman. She is a pretty good singer.
I enjoy the style of music they have for zombies right now. Hard at some parts, and relaxing others. Take "Coming Home" for example. It's a screamer at the beginning, and then passionate, then heavy, then passionate again. It's pretty even. But hey, that's just IMO.
