Updated October 26, 2013 9:45am:

Q: What is happening now that the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration has ended?

A:  If you moved your Call of Duty® Elite Clan over to a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan, we are setting up your Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan and pre-populating your Clan Members for use in the game and Call of Duty® app.  You will be able to manage your Clan within Call of Duty®: Ghosts with the launch of the Call of Duty® app on November 5th, 2013.  If you have not moved your Call of Duty® Elite Clan over, you will be able to set up a Clan with the launch of the Call of Duty® app on November 5th, 2013.

Q: Can I still log in to the Call of Duty® website and access my Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan from now until launch?

A:  No.  All of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Management Clan functionality is now locked until the launch of the Call of Duty® app on November 5th, 2013.  You will be able to access and manage your Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan through the Call of Duty® app.

Q: Why is there a new Clan system for Call of Duty®: Ghosts?

A: Clans in Call of Duty®: Ghosts will include deeper in-game integration and more features, from in-game Clan Management and Clan–specific playlists to the all-new Call of Duty® Clan Wars game mode available in the new Call of Duty® app. This year also introduces cross-platform Clans, allowing players to create and/or join a single Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan across the following platforms: including Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation®3, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC.

Q: Won’t my current Call of Duty® Elite Clan work with Call of Duty®: Ghosts?

A: No, Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clans are built on a new system, so Call of Duty® Elite Clan Leaders/Members alike must start or join a new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan.

Q: What are the benefits of being in a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan?

A: By being in a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan, players can look forward to:

• Participating in Call of Duty® Clan Wars – the new Call of Duty® app game mode that ties directly into Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer, where you and your friends will compete against other Clans to earn bonus multiplayer XP and exclusive in-game items.

• Playing in Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan vs Clan playlists.

• An entirely new Clan leveling system that offers Clan Members more opportunities to earn Clan XP.

• Clan management functionality, both in-game and in the new Call of Duty® app.

• Notifying Clan Members that you’re heading into a match with the touch of a button via the Call of Duty® app’s Clan Chat and Rally-Up features.

Q: When Call of Duty®: Ghosts launches, will the process of creating, managing, and joining a Clan be the same as it was during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Registration?

A: No.  On November 5th, 2013, you will be able to create or join a new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan by downloading the new Call of Duty® app on your supported mobile device.  Through the Call of Duty® app, you will have full access to a robust Clan Management system, among many other features designed to work hand-in-hand with the Call of Duty®: Ghosts game.  We will have more details to share on this process at launch.

Q: Where do I go to create or join a new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan?

A: On November 5th, 2013, you can create or join a new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan, by downloading the new Call of Duty® app on your supported mobile device. Once you have downloaded the Call of Duty® app, log in using either your Call of Duty® account or your existing Call of Duty® Elite account credentials. From there, you’ll be prompted to set up your new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan, unless you are already a part of a Clan. Additionally, new players can sign-up for a free Call of Duty® account through the Call of Duty® app.

Q: Can I still reserve a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name before the game launches?

A: No, the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration ended on October 25th, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT).  You will be able to create or join a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan on November 5th, 2013.

Q: What happens if I’m a current Call of Duty® Elite Clan Leader, and I didn’t reserve our Clan Name during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration?

A: If a Call of Duty® Elite Clan Leader did not reserve their current Call of Duty® Elite Clan as their Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name by the end of the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration period, and no other Clan Leader from a different platform has claimed it, then their Call of Duty® Elite Clan Name will become available for anyone to claim as their Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name on a first-come, first-serve basis once the Call of Duty® app launches on November 5th, 2013.

Q: What happens to existing Call of Duty® Elite Clan Names that did not get reserved during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration period?

A: If a Call of Duty® Elite Clan Name was not reserved by their current Call of Duty® Elite Clan Leader as their Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name by the end of the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration period, and no other Clan Leader from a different platform has claimed it, then their Call of Duty® Elite Clan Name will become available for anyone to claim as their Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name on a first-come, first-serve basis once the Call of Duty® app launches on November 5th, 2013.

Q: If I am a new player and don’t have a Call of Duty® account or never signed-up for Call of Duty® Elite, can I still create or join a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan?

A: Yes, on November 5th, 2013, you will be able to create or join a new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan through the Call of Duty® app. Once you have the Call of Duty® app downloaded, you can sign-up for a free Call of Duty® account. Q: I reserved a new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration – can I change it?

A: If you reserved your new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration, you must keep it until “Open Registration” begins on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 – timed to Call of Duty®: Ghosts launch on current-gen consoles and Windows PC. After Open Registration/November 5th, 2013 you will be able to change your Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name.

Q: I’m a Clan Leader and I reserved a Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name that I no longer want. Can I leave my Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan, or can I give it to another Clan Member?

A: Once you’ve reserved your new Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan Name during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration, you must keep it until “Open Registration” begins on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 – timed to Call of Duty®: Ghosts launch on current-gen consoles and Windows PC. After Open Registration/November 5th, 2013, Clan Leaders will be able to transfer ownership of their Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan to a different Clan Member (thus creating a new Clan Leader), and leave their Clan.

Q: Can I be a Clan Member of more than one Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan on different platforms? For example, can I be in one Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan on Xbox 360, and a different one on PlayStation®3?

A: No, with the introduction of cross-platform Clans, which will allow Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clans to be comprised of players across multiple platforms, Clan Members can only be in one Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan at a time, regardless of platform.

*Feature and availability are subject to change.

• A mobile and tablet experience that includes some of the best and most popular features from Call of Duty® Elite, such as tracking your career stats – like KDR, win ratio, hours played, etc. – as well as the ability to check out a friend’s or rival’s stats, and the ability to edit your squad and push loadouts to the game.

CLANS AND CALL OF DUTY® CLAN WARS-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

Q: How do I level-up my Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan?

A: In Call of Duty®: Ghosts, all multiplayer matches played with at least one other Clan Member will earn Clan XP and unlock Clan rewards.

Q: I do not want to use the Call of Duty® app, but I’m worried that players who do will have an unfair advantage in Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer with the in-game Call of Duty® Clan Wars rewards.

A: No, the Call of Duty® app will not provide any unfair gameplay advantage in Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer.

Q: What is Call of Duty® Clan Wars?

A: Call of Duty® Clan Wars is a brand new game mode in the Call of Duty® app that ties directly to Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer.  It offers a deeper Clans experience by enlisting players into a larger conflict where any Clan Member, regardless of skill level, can contribute to the Call of Duty® Clan War simply by participating, and rewards them with cool items, both in the app and in Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer.

Q: How does Call of Duty® Clan Wars work?

A: In Call of Duty® Clan Wars, your Clan is pitted against seven other evenly matched Clans to battle for possession of key locations on the Call of Duty® app’s clan wars map over a period of time.

The locations on the Call of Duty® app’s clan wars map are tied to specific multiplayer modes in Call of Duty®: Ghosts.  For example, when you’re playing in a clan war, the Aqueduct location on the Call of Duty® app’s clan wars map is tied to the Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode in Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer, and your Clan will battle against seven other Clans to secure and hold the Aqueduct location while the other Clans try and take it away from you. Each time your Clan wins a Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer match in TDM, your Clan gets a “Capture Point” for the Aqueduct location. There will be multiple locations on the Call of Duty® app’s clan wars map, tied to other multiplayer game modes in Call of Duty®: Ghosts, and your Clan gets more Capture Points for securing either the Aqueduct or other locations and holding them down over time. The Clan with the most Capture Points at the end of the period wins the clan war.

Clans that participate in Call of Duty® Clan Wars have the opportunity earn cool rewards both in the Call of Duty® app and in-game as well. Rewards are distributed based on how your Clan ranked in the overall clan war. Of the seven Clans that participate in a clan war, the top three ranking Clans will earn rewards, with the winning Clan receiving the most.

Clan Members can review their standings at any point during a clan war using the Call of Duty® app, and strategize their next multiplayer play session – should your Clan hold down the location you’ve already captured, or move on to try and capture other locations for even more points.

CALL OF DUTY® ELITE-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

Q: Will Call of Duty® Elite support Call of Duty®: Ghosts?

A: No, Call of Duty®: Ghosts will be supported within the new Call of Duty® app.

Q: With the introduction of the new Call of Duty® app for Call of Duty®: Ghosts, is Call of Duty® Elite going away?

A: Yes, Call of Duty® Elite will eventually phase out over time, with initial, minor changes planned to take place beginning in November, and then more changes in early 2014. The Call of Duty® app was designed to work with the next generation of Call of Duty® games, like Call of Duty®: Ghosts. Call of Duty® Elite will continue supporting prior Call of Duty® games, including Call of Duty®: Black Ops II, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty®: Black Ops through early 2014.

Q: If I have the current Call of Duty® Elite app, will it automatically update to become the new Call of Duty® app?

A: No, the current Call of Duty® Elite app will not update to become the new Call of Duty® app for Call of Duty®: Ghosts. The new Call of Duty® app will be a separate app, which fans can download at their respective app store, based on their supported mobile or tablet device.

Once the new Call of Duty® app is downloaded, fans still using the Call of Duty® Elite app for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty®: Black Ops II will be able to easily switch back and forth between apps.

Q: What changes will be made to Call of Duty® Elite in November, and early next year?

A: On November 8th, 2013, we will cease running Clan Ops and Challenges for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare 3. More information on future changes to Call of Duty® Elite will be communicated at a later date.

Q: I am a Call of Duty® Elite Founder.  What does this mean for me?

A: As a Founding Member of Call of Duty® Elite, you get to keep your special emblem and it will be still displayed in your playercard in the Call of Duty® app.

I believe an extremely important question that hasn't been asked / answered yet is....Does all this finally relieve us of the 100 member limit currently in place for clans!???  We have over 300 people on multiple platforms.  We've been trying to organize them now with "rosters".  Essentially multiple clans broken up in chunks of 100.

Why not on Wii U?

I use my computer and I do not have any form of technology that uses app. How would I be able to use App through my computer?

tthis is the worst way they could have did this I've had the same clam on elite from day one and now I've lost my name because of this stupid enrollment they should have let the people who are leaders of elite clans register there names forts and then everyone else

Ok. Would like some clarification so I know what to tell my clan members. I have a few members getting ghosts on Ps3 and a few members getting ghosts for ps4 and waiting until the ps4 is available.  Will our scores for challenges count towards the same challenge? For instance if I have 25 confirms on ps3 and a member has 25 confirms on ps4 will our clan challenge have 50 confirms overall? Also will be ps3 members that are online be able to party up with ps4 members that are online? Or will it only be ps3 with ps3 and ps4 with ps4? If someone could get me answers that'd be great. Thanks!

Any word of adding multiple leaders to a clan? or even 2nd ranked members who can update clan stuff/add delete members when the leader is away?

How many letter will be allow in the Call of Duty Ghosts Tags for clans? (Now in Elite max of 4.)

From what I read, you are still limited to 100 members per clan.

For the other person that asked about players on different consoles.... it sounds like as long as you're in the same clan it doesn't matter if some of  you are on PS3 and others on PS4. That is why they are allowing the clan part of the game to be cross-console. But from everything I've read and heard, you will not be able to play with PS3 players if you are using PS4. But now, that doesn't mean that you can't be in the same clan.

I'm pretty sure you can only use 4 letters in the name of your clan. I didn't read anything that said otherwise so I would expect that it's the same as it was.

I think most things are pretty much clarified in this very very long FAQ... I hope you guys can all find the answers you're looking for in here.

Yes there has been several videos and articles posted that clearly states that "Everyone in your clan, regardless of platform, counts towards clan goals." So yes both your PS3 and PS4 members will count towards the same challenge or clan op or whatever new challenges they come up with.

Will clans in Ghosts be separated into categories like light weight, medium weight, and heavy weight according to number of members?

I think what they are saying is you will not have the opportunity to level up anymore as they will not be having more challenges/ops. I think lol...

There will still be that, in recent videos like the clans trailer they further show clan vs. clan modes where you have to take areas on a map

With cross platform games you will be able to party up on different systems but you will most like have to send the invite from the clan list instead of your friends list.

I Was leader of a clan now the clan is ready for ghosts I now have handed the leadership to someone else and moved to another clan and I'm in the new clan but not in there ghosts list of members and it still says I'm leader of the old clan when im not plz help

If you pre registered your clan you have to stay a part of that clan until November 5th when the game comes out. Come November 5th you'll be able to leave the ghosts clan and join the new one you're seeking. Hope this helps. Basically what I'm getting at is if you created a ghosts clan early, the only things you can do with it are add and remove members and hand out your link. You can't change the clan name or leave or do anything real manager wise until the game comes out. Have a good one.

Went to the clan register page and logged in, how do I know if it actually registered my clan? It really did nothing after I logged in.

have you been able to add people to the clan? everyone that opens up the link i give them says it doesnt take them to the clan page.  And up in the FAQ it says "Please note that we will not be offering direct invitations to Clan Members via the Clan Registration Page during the Call of Duty®: Ghosts Early Clan Registration. We will, however, have full Clan Management functionality available in the new Call of Duty® app, which launches alongside Call of Duty®: Ghosts for current-gen consoles and Windows PC on November 5, 2013."  .. does this mean we can't actually add any members right now?

They make beautiful lyrics with beautiful " Promises " as they had done for MW3 , and especially for BO2 , and they said they would correct known problems and claimed by players who had the status or Elite ( which was not free ) either premium or higher , so FOUNDER ... with a beautiful card and the code to create a special account for players with one of these statutes, or to have all three (3)

I find it unfair that we were special and we paid , became free directly on BO2 therefore become Elite free ... The premium status was expired and they did not let the players choose to leave their own opinion to accept or not ... When the status of the Founder, and now it already BO2 , not useless, we just have a ' different skull " , but no advantages compared to all those who register on Elite and make an account and register a clan name Ghosts ( ghost ) ..!

We'll see over time, and especially we have no choice but to suffer if there are still problems as on BO2 , which said it became very boring and was from the players ...

                            Phil . ( HarpeScorpion04 ) gamertag is proposed, and it going , I love it. !

Hi everyone ,

Maybe some have already discussed this subject before , but I get so many messages that I can not read all the comments on the forums, forgive me in advance ... Thank you ...

My priority is to be more available to everyone, and answer their questions , it happens that it is a little longer to get the answer , but I'd checked twice by different sources everything is good before giving an answer to players ....

I find it really unfair that players " Windows PC " must wait on 5 November to register their clan .... That they will remain as their choice of names for their clans. ! For nowhere, we speak only those who already had a clan name on their PC , and that on the other Call of Duty games .... They may have a little more chance to keep or change their clan name . !

Admit that it's laughable but in sadness, because remember that the PS software platforms are software "Windows" .... as the new engine of the PS4 , which is actually the old engine " DDR " they have evolved ... and as I had already written , and try to have a little your opinion ... WHY did they not already used on BO2 and evolve , so see what they could make such changes and insurance for this new Callofduty ; Ghosts on PS3 and PS4 ....

Yes , they did some tests , but maximum 125 consoles. !

According to the latest figures , Europe, nearly 67 million ( million) PS3 summers were sold. ! This is something other than testing 125 PS3 and PS4 ....

Many wanted to know if some of them had the opportunity to test this new PS4 . ! I did an article on this, but it was " French " , those who read and who want English version or other , simply do a copy / paste " google translation " ... I tried to give as much information , but you guessed that describe all the positives and negatives have been as long as a " Directory " phone Loool

But for all those who want information , I meet them personally , or on the site ..!

As they are very smart, and we take for " Cows Frics " They talk to you as supplements to pay for the game Ghosts ... $ 10 or 10 pounds or 10 Euros .... What they have not warned , commercial action requires is that for all the games you want to switch from your PS3 to your PS4 you coutras between 10-20 Euros per game ... even own games that Sony made and sold only on the PSN ... I think especially the game " _ PAY DAY" who was taken from 20 Euros pre-order , made the calculation , it is as if you are buying a second time the same games. !

It could be that I have a solution that is 100 % legal and air to operate . ! But after a few tests , I will personally and PRIVATE , the little trick .

Good game , good fun for all ....

We have the same issue. We have more than 89,000 Registered Clan members on our website. Under Elite we had more than 50 “clans” for only the most dedicated ClanOps players.  It would be nice to have just one Clan and have no limit to the number of members

Will My clan tag still be golden?

So.. there won't be a computer interface for managing clans..? I don't think that's a good idea.. the original ELITE app is still quite the flop..I'd like to retain computer management of my clan....

I have three android devices and neither of them will find the Call of Duty Ghosts app....and I am reading here that there will be NO control of clan management thru the PC?!?! This has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen... It's completely obvious there is a huge contractual conflict here with either Apple or a development company behind the scenes somewhere....HUGE mistake on y'all's part.
