it doesnt make sense why they would reduce explosives to near firecrackers now

Don't insult firecrackers.

A few matches ago I cooked a grenade halfway and tossed it into a room. It was a perfect bank that would make Larry Bird proud and I got a hitmarker, nothing more. I had Recon on for my Specialist Bonus and it showed the guy was standing just inside the doorway. He couldn't have been more than a foot from the grenade and I didn't get a kill.

Yeah, they're not Lethals anymore.  They are French Ticklers. And once the arousal of surviving them fades, they will be re-labeled Limp Dicks.

Exactly. Until IEDs can't ever kill some will endlessly complain.

It all arises from the mentality that run and gun is the only legitimate play style. It's not good enough that they have perks to counter IEDs. But perks like amplify, that only partially counters dead silence, are too good and shouldn't even be available. In other words leave all perks and equipment that help a run and gun play style (which most are for anyways) but remove the few perks and equipment that help other play styles.

There would be no game if people didn't move around.  IW is realizing that they screwed up with the map design and are trying to make up for that by nerfing camping tools.  You don't have to run and gun to move around the map.

And you have 3 perks to counter them so you have no excuse that they stop you from moving.

Many games before COD didn't have UAVs or dead sillence or ping, or blast shield, or Oracle etc etc and there was movement. You guys even complain about head glitching because many of you expect people to make it easy for you to kill them. Simple put you guys just complain. And if the majority agreed with you Crank and Heavy Duty would be popular. They are not, so you complain endlessly to have the developers impose the game style you want on the majority.

Who are "you guys?"  I'd like you to find where I complained about anything.  The point still stands.  There is no game if no one moves.  It doesn't matter how many perks there are to counter them.  You have perks to make ied's better.

One reason HD and Cranked aren't popular is because people camped in those too - which really pissed off the rushers in those modes.

Add that to a fractured playlist with most people only playing TDM and Dom and no wonder no-one plays anything else.

People don't play the game-modes as intended generally anyway so why even bother.

Heavy duty was buffed health, which gave high ROF weapons an advantage. There was no intended way of playing it. If they wanted to have an intended play style they would have had an SMG only game mode. Did you actually believe the intent was to have snipers constantly running, especially with QS nerfed?

Cranked was something run and gunners whined for.

So was nerfed IED, MSBS, sniper rifles, amplify, increasing cost for OTG and  Incog (it was suppose to cost 2 originally), buffed SMG and dead silence. That's what happens when the developers listen to a small group of crybabies for 7 months.

As far as fractured play lists how is that even relevant. All playlist have to deal with it. And if most wanted to play Heavy Duty it would have been more popular that the pathetic numbers that actually did.
