My opinion on what is revealed so far:

  • Really impressed overall. I had stopped playing Call of Duty for several years and had gone and played another FPS that will not be named. I preordered Ghosts half-way before the Reveal was even over I was so impressed.
  • I really like the extra perks and ability to customize them/trade in equipment to get more. I think it really rewards players who like to put a lot of thought into strategy.
  • I used to play a lot of HC: S&D and am really excited to play Search and Rescue
  • I think Squads is a very neat concept. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
  • I'm glad Infected is returning. I thought it was a very original gametype, and a buddy and I played a ton of it together.

Doubt I will be.

Your track record on stopping cheaters is dismal.

You allowed people to use a program that contravene Activisions and your own policy.

So what has changed?

Are you still going to allow booting programs?

Are you going to actually ban cheaters this time?

Scavenger really does need to resupply Tactical/Lethal grenades because going from the footage so far all it's resupplying is ammo.

In MW3 it was the same and was a complete waste of a perk, you couldn't even pick up extra Stinger missiles so good luck taking down that AC-130 which required a minimum of 3 Stingers when you only spawned with 2 missiles =/ I also came across many situations where I tossed C4 into buildings to clear out the tac inserting campers only to get hit markers, which mean't I could no longer safely clear out the building without killing myself to get a new C4.

I don't know the reason Scavenger was changed between MW2 -> MW3 (I'm guessing due to the tubing going on), but please don't make the same mistake again because that one descision is what pretty much ruined MW3 for me and I would hate to have to miss out on CoD:Ghosts due to the same reason.

Agreed. Did anybody other than people using specialist class use it?

Way to much nerfing in MW3 that made way to many things useless, scavenger being one.

Are there stingers in Ghost? With the removal of many aerial kills streaks is there even a reason for it? From the trailers it looks like they nerfed many of the kills streaks as well.

If it takes three shells to take down a particular aircraft then the weapon should come with three shells. But I don't think Scavenger should resupply more then the bullets. If everything was refilled, we would just get matches of non stop spamming of RPGs and grenade launchers. Many players wouldn't bother with their guns 90% of the time if they could refill their supply of shells and grenade launchers. That's my opinion. That's why QS was so damn popular. It required little effort in choosing weapons when the sniper rifle could work close up as well as long range.

Other than tube spamming in MW2 I didn't have a problem with it. As someone mentioned already you have counter balancing perks like blast shield and sitrep. That fact that many don't use them is evidence that resupplying tac equipment isn't the problem some say it is. They just don't like changing their tactics to stop dying from it. And the big problem with tube spamming was OMA.
