How about weapon DLCs for Ghosts in the coming future?

It's not a rip off. It is solely your choice if you want to buy the add-on items. The game will function fine without them. You are not being put at a disadvantage by not having the DLCs and microtransaction items. They are not trying to cram the next release down everyone's throat. It is your decision if you want to buy it or not. You don't want it, don't buy it. It's that simple.

THANKYOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS, because i never knew i had a choice in whether i bought it or not........

What im trying to say is, why is it such a problem to just include all the weapons in the base game?

Why now all of a sudden since black ops 2 is there a must for weapon dlc?

Why with the prices we already have to pay for the game and season pass, should there be even more expendature?

They are running a business not a charity. They will try to earn as much money as they can. They can do what they want and if you don't like it then don't support them and vote with your wallet. Again, those items and DLCs are optional. If you're compulsive and if you can't control yourself from not buying them then it's your problem.

The game would play fine even if you won't buy the season pass. Why do you think you have to buy them? They are not compulsary but optional. If you think COD gaming is expensive then don't buy the optional items. The choice is yours to make.

Do you honestly believe that they will change their business strategy just because you and some other players don't like it? No.

I agree if people are foolish enough to keep paying for it then more mug them, what i dont agree with is, with the prices we currently have to pay for games and season passes, why are we then having to pay extra for dlc weapons?

Why cant they include them in the base game? or why not in the season pass price?

And yes, they are trying to run a business, but what good is a business when you've priced all of your customers out of sales

Do you have a source of this claim? Last time I heard, their optional items brought in millions of additional revenues. You may disagree with their practice but there are people out there who are willing to pay. You are obviously not the target demographic for such items. Just because you have this idea doesn't mean much to them. They will always do what is good for business and earning more money is good business.

Earning money is good business, but when people keep buying these items they keep putting the prices up, the more they put the prices up the less people buy them, this cycle continues until it starts costing them money, when its starts costing them money it becomes bad business.

Take the DLC map packs for example, They started at around £7.99 each, these prices have gradually increased over the years to where we are now, around £14.99 each, give it a few years and chances are they'll be charging around £19.99 each, all the time they're making profits its good business, but then one day the prices are going to be so high that noone will be able to afford them, oh dear, brilliant business has just turned into bad business.

Best way to do good business is to support your customers, rule no.1 the customer is always right.

Constantly trying to get more money out of a customer is good short term because you make quick profits, bad in the long term because eventually said customer will find somewhere cheaper, then your not making any money from that customer.

Best way to do it is to include all DLC under the season pass price, not only would that keep more customers happy, but it would give them more incentive to purchase the season pass. Its a win win situation, the customer gets they're dlc, the service provider makes more profit from season pass sales.

Don't you think they never thought of that? They obviously had a think tank on how they should handle the DLCs and microtransactions. They came up with the decision not to include them on the Season Pass and earn even more money by doing them separate. Those guys are not idiots. They also know that even if they lose some gamers who don't agree with their practice, it won't make a dent on their sales. The amount of new players getting into COD covers the amount of gamers they lost many times over.

If you think they are ripping off the Season Pass holders then read the fine print on what's included on it. By purchasing the Season Pass, you agreed to their terms.

hey yo chillax dogs. DLC is a cool addition to games. it adds more content. and im sure there not going to go overboard with it. as of right now there handling it ok. now if they do sell some questionable DLC then we wont buy it. its that simple. and if it gets really bad we`ll just not buy the game. and we`ll find a different game to play.

Players have been clamoring for weapon DLC for years.

That's my opinion but it should be yours ;-),
