I also read the story, pretty hardcore for bringing in SWAT.
The whole thing cost over 100 000 $, tax money put in use. If they get to find out the guy he will be in such a deep sh##.
And when it goes down, the parents will be telling everyone, "But he's a harmless kid, my child would never do such a thing. It was a big misunderstanding. We're good parents..."
Same BS over and over again. Parents will probably say some s**t about not being able to afford to pay the cops back and we should just forget about it.
No, doubt. What is really sad is if the parents actually step up and be parents. Online access would be over, the kid would then probably devise some way tto hurt the parents in a similar fashion.
When you mean "be parents", I think you mean "needs a whooping"
Now it's come to my neck of the woods, happened last night.
In what may be Edmonton’s first case of “swatting”, people in a house near 75th Street and 101st Avenue were called out at gunpoint by heavily armed tactical officers early today. Police responded to a 9-11 call that something terrible was happening and there were weapons involved. They couldn’t take chances and deployed the swat team…who determined the occupants including a teenage boy were the innocent victims of a prankster.
SWAT...."Hey guys, I found a whole stash of murder weapons!"
that deserves its own thread hattor!!! LMAO!!! oh geez.
"I'm telling you, there were computerized consoles, CDs, and hard drives with detailed code about weapons, military aircraft, and detailed plots to blow up airplanes, ships, and buildings - in New York City! I don't care if the disks were disguised with 'Call of Duty' labels, it was still a vast right wing conspiracy. This was not Modern Warfare 3."
