What was your first home computer?

As the title says, what was your first computer you had at home.

Mine was the old ZX Spectrum, i remember sitting there forever waiting for games to load from cassette fingers crossed that it loaded properly and the tapes were not creased...

I remember an uncle of mine sending us cassettes with games on them. A very rough version of Centipede that I believe he had programmed from a book was the great prize from that one. Like I mentioned in a previous thread it was the glorious TRS80. I think it was in 1980 or 81.

I went from an IBM in the mid 80's.......

to a Mac in 2005.........

I hated the IBM soooo much. I didn't know how to use it and had absolutely no interest in computers until college in the mid 90's. You know...when they became user friendly. Then I just used it for photoshop because I was a photography major. 8mb zip drives.....lol.

Edit: By the way, I have never gamed on a pc.

P.S.      I know there is a heavy divide between apple and the rest of the computing world out there. The movie Jobs really took me for a time warp that I wasn't ready for. From Atari, IBM, Apple, and MS. I never really paid close attention to the progression of the pc evolution. I recommend it to anyone that might have reservations about watching it because it is pro Apple.

My experience of this is not good, I have had my fingers burned a couple of times by so called "expert" shops who have made me garbage.
