I'm using Windows 8, not 8.1

My problem is when I join a game, the game stutters for about a minute before I can be fully in control with no lag. Works perfect after that.

I don't get errors, I don't lag out, there is absolutely nothing else wrong. I tried the work around where you can set the priority to normal instead of high, which fixes in-game beginning lag, but it takes a long time to load a game to the point to where I get timed out.

I have a HIS Radeon HD 6670

Intel Pentium D CPU 3.40 GHz (Not good, but its still over the requirements)

6 Gigs of ram

I appreciate the help you guys are providing us, it gives me hope that I can finally enjoy ghosts, because I know that if I can still enjoy the game even though I can't play in the beginning, it's a good game. Good job, and thanks for the support.

Windows 8 and 8.1 do not like AMD display drivers, I went back to windows 7 after my pc locked up on all three driver updates... When it takes more than 30min to install a display driver it becomes too much of a hassle.

So go back to a real OS (windows 7) and drop windows 8 like it's going out of style..

I saw significant performance gain and all of the random stuttering went away when I did, I still get frame drops and the game still looks like ass and there's still no crossfire support, but at least it's playable.

I don't know if the game hates windows 8 as well or not but the hassles of windows 8 are just not worth it.. Also windows 8 and windows 8.1 are pretty much the same thing minus some interface changes.

Try - Micro stuttering with SLI

Copy/Paste; The following at least seems to work 'better' and is smooth for me and with no SLI Strobing, so I thought I'd share some 'Starting-point' settings that are working for me. Keep in mind any vSync is going to cap you at your monitor's refresh rate (e.g. 60 Hz = 60 FPS, or 120 Hz = (limit) 90 FPS+/-1).

Look I just want to get it out there but really It still is 6gb of ram. Some people dont have high and mighty computers and the game doesnt even use that much ram to run it. I have a max. of 6gb of ram and yet I still cant get on. Personally its ridiculous that the pc community cant get their bang for their buck unless they have gaming computers. Gaming computers are quite expensive even with todays economy so It is unfair for the people that are loyal to Treyarch and expect good content with actually being able to experience it. This is just my opinion and It might really not matter but If you want to say Im wrong then go ahead no one is stopping you Its just that I cannot play this game because of its "requirements" and others might have the same issue. I bought this game shortly after its release and I cant even play it. Its been lets see maybe around 3-4 months and yet this issue is not fixed. I know you can double you ram but I dont have the time or money for that. It is just preposterous that this isnt fixed and we have to keep waiting and like I said this is only my opinion so you can dog on me all you want but you cannot say that I was speaking for everyone because I was speaking my opinion and for myself.
