They are called silencers, but are actually suppressors. They reduce the noise not eliminate it. Even if they could eliminate the noise of the shot, you would still get the cocking and firing noise from the working parts cycling anyway. Actually quite realistic.
Yeah not really sure what your gripe is about the silencer. If it made no noise at all I think they would have called it the silent. What do you expect? It doesn't show up on the HUD, what more do you need?
It keeps you off the radar, which is the entire point of having it in this game. Your gun is still going to make noise.
Its a silencer . It does what it is supposed too. Makes ur gun quieter and keeps u off mini map. U cant use a real gun with a silencer and expect it to not make any noise. Just like in real life it greatly reduces the noise when firing . Not sure where u are getting the idea it shouldnt make any noise at all.
not just in this cod but past cods its quite loud for a so called silencer dont ya think
If they were totally silent, you would probably have created a thread complaining that they are too silent!
Hopefully this video of silencers/suppressors will demonstrate what they really sound like (as I said previously it is quite realistic in game). The video shows the SIG MPX being fired in standard, screw on silencer and integrated silencer forms. It also looks amazingly like the Honeybadger with the suppressor fitted.
