I had to remove the offsite link to the file, per the mods.

Had this issue hope this fixes for you.

You need to go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Ghosts

Download the players2.zip and extract it into the directory above.

(Alternatively you can make the folder and put the two cfg file sin teh folder. In case you do not extract with full path or the folder itself.)

Message me for more info about the players2.zip

The issue is you need a players2 folder with two files listed below.

The zip is the folder and the two files.

YOU MUST HAVE TWO FILES IN THE FOLDER (Lots of help and vids talk of only one file. But you need both which is why you may try just the one config_mp.cfg file in the folder and it still doesn;t work)

config_mp.cfg

and

config.cfg

These should in your players2 folder

Now when you run the game if it asks for safe mode say no.

When it wants to optimize say no both times.

You should be good to go then.

This works for multiplayer and single player.

Hopefully the game makers can offer up this cfg instead of having to download it from me.
