Like many other people, I am unable to even launch COD Ghosts from Steam. Upon double clicking a little box pops up informing me that COD Ghosts is not responding/is experiencing a problem. Trying not to be one just to complain, I have: updated my drivers, unintalled and reintstalled the game, verified the game cache, and even redownloaded DirectX11.

I have exaclty the same problem as yours but in my case not even the single player is working.
Disabled Kasperghost Antivirus, Steam App started as Administrator, installed DX11, Visual C++ 2012 and Framework 4.0 included with game, installed the latest nvidia driver 331.65. I have also tried to unistall and reinstall all (Steam, and Call of Duty Ghost) no changes.
I have also tried to launch the game from the .exe and I receive the following error:
iw6sp64_ship.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

same problem game will not launch just a pop up call of duty ghosts has stopped working.
I've got the exact same problem. My pc is good enough to run this game at high settings, my drivers are up to date and I tried all the things Steam told me to do. I can play other games using steam, especially cod ghosts.
It'd be nice if someone could help us.

I responded to another thread that you posted in, but just in case you don't see it, I'll' post it here too. Unfortunately, it seems you are running on Windows 32bit when the minimum requirement is Windows 64bit.
I've got 64 bit version of win7 installed.
By the way: two weeks ago I've played the game for a few hours. It won't start anymore. It says: "Can't launch game (program is already active)".
Have you tried to launch the .exe from the game folder?
