Does everybody remember the deathstreak called "Dead Man's Hand"? For those who don't know, it's a deathstreak that allows a player to fall to the ground alive when receiving lethal bullet damage. While on the ground, the player chooses when to detonate themselves, killing anyone within the limited blast radius.
Well guess what? The Predator killstreak you earn from a care package in the "Ruins" map can peform the same function as Dead Man's Hand. However, instead of killing everybody within a limited blast radius, the predator's explosion kills everyone on the map (similar to the KEM strike, hence "Dead Man's Nuke").
What are the devs thinking!?
They probably saw this video and thought, "hmmmm, that's a good idea! *derp*"
I'm going to let you know so that you can edit it, but this is for the DEVASTATION DLC, not for Onslaught.
My bad. I'm just so flustered that I forgot to realize it earlier. Thanks!
No problem. I'm really just telling you because there are some "smart" people on here who love to nitpick and b*tch about stupid things like that, and it takes away from the discussion.
To address your post:
I had no idea about that Dead Man's Nuke. I strongly wish/hope/pray that they don't go through with that. Unless it's REALLY difficult to get The Predator; you know, 25 kills without dying, not including kills by kill streaks. Only THEN would I say, "Yeah sure. Why not?"
This game has jumped the shark (yeah, I know).
Must have missed that one.
Game jumped with MM streak... at least Predator had soldiers in it.
But that nuke looks a bit much.
I'm just saddened. I have tried to like titles like Crysis and nothing fits. Why would you mess with the recipe? Bringing that sh** into this is ruining it. What's next?
It's gone way off the grid with novelty stuff.
Why they can't focus on the important things... like the spawn system?
On the plus side... I won't see the streak until late June when they finally move Devastation into the standard playlists.
