Looking forward to April 3 when I can finally run it in a class. I've been using it a bit off dead players, but it's just not the same as owning it.
Its a good gun but a lot of other guns can out gun it; however, due to lag and host of the 360. Can't really find out if the weapon is really good or not.
The K7, mtar and other sub-machine guns can outgun it if the person has the skill to do so.
Besides they will not make a very OP gun and give it to people who have season pass players. Due to the fact that it would make a lot of people very mad.
I love it. It is one of the most deadly accurate guns on the game thus far.
The Ripper is really the most OP gun ever. Its a SMG and an Assault Rifle with all the benefits of a SMG. If you were to set this class up you would need a SMG (1 point), an Assault Rifle (1 point), Overkill (3 points), Agility (2 points), Stalker (3 points), Quickdraw (3 points), Reflex (2points). We're already at 15 points built in to a 1 point gun...haha wtf?
I think they nailed it perfectly. It's a top tier weapon, but not overpowered. It's unique and fun to use. I've been very happy with the DLC weapons. I only wish there was more
Pros: range in AR mode is good, smg mobility, smg mode fire rate
Cons: high idle sway, 360 recoil pattern, no thermal or optics

I think this is a brilliant gun, since it came out i cant stop using it.
Like I said earlier, I like the Ripper for it's versatility and it holds several spots in my Squads loadouts. However, it is far from an OP gun. In fact, I switched a couple of my loadouts back to the SC-2010, I love the high rate of fire, the damage with the muzzle break, and the accuracy. The only down side is that you can't run as far of as fast with it.
Actually starting to enjoy the Ripper now, it is growing on me. Some maps really benefit from the two modes, Soverign for example goes from CQ to large open areas round each corner.
