Whoever decided to make the beginning so rediculously hard, needs to be punched in the face. Repeatedly.
Admittedly, I'm not so focued on the difficulty right now as the fact that it crosses over with the Extinction mode from Ghosts. Seeing this gives me hope that Infinity Ward will revisit the narrative of Ghosts in some way, either as a full title, or as a separate mode, either DLC or a mode similar to Nightmare in BO3. And if Ghosts is revisited, this gives hope that Advanced Warfare would be revisited as well.
Of course, I'm perfectly aware I'm probably reading too much into this, but I've always been a "hope springs eternal" type of person.
I am going to have to admit... There is a STEEP learning curve with this one. Get to power quickly and kneel when you shoot is the best advice I could give. (not going to stoop to the get good crap... thats just basic and mean)
But yeah... This map is HARD AS HELL!!!!
I was afraid that Infinity Ward was going to raise the difficulty with this one after some ill advised community rumbling that Infinite Warfare Zombies is too easy and Treyarch's Zombies is still King. This is a let down for me since this is the most Zombies I've ever played and I'm just a pack a punch once and see how far I get type, no EEs completed so I won't get anywhere in Beast from Beyond.
I'm disappointed that they used the enemies from ghosts (cryptids) which was the worst zombie mode in cod history. The beginning is difficult and the boss fight on solo is impossible!! Wish I could get my money back for the dlc since I never would've purchased a reiteration of the worst cod zombies enemies ever! I've stood by this franchise from the beginning but it is abundantly obvious to me now that the whole series is just a cash cow. All dlc content is always zombies and multiplayer. They never add any extra campaign stuff. And the digital purchases are worthless. Also, after the first month of release no one plays anymore. Can never find a round or match and for some reason there are challenges for demolition and yet that game mode was never ever available. Battlefield has owned Activision in regards to support of existing titles and repeat play, maintaining strong numbers and servers. Activision makes their money then leaves is in the dirt again and again. I just can't defend this franchise anymore.
As much as everyone LOVES to complain about this, please take a step back and look at the whole picture. The previous 4 EE's are pretty easy, and the reward for completing all 5 is ridiculous. To make the 5th EE easy would just take the fun out of the game, and the reward would have no real weight or significance to it.
Think about it:
You'll start with 25,000 points
All wonder weapons will appear in the Magic Wheel
Everything from the Magic Wheel is single Pack-A-Punched
If getting that kind of reward is easy, then starting a game with that kind of power would be extremely common and there's nothing to be proud of for having it. But when you get it when the final EE is so tough, you can take pride that it shows you have the skills to get it.
Even with the average veteran, it's very easy to get the power on in round 1 and only have to deal with zombies from round 2 and on WITHOUT Director's Cut.
