Are the servers really down? or what is the usual fix for this.
I was just playing last night, all was well, didn't have any computer changes besides a shut down and restart...
PC, log into steam, then click my multiplayer exe... still getting the error.
I guess I'll reboot my modem and router but I have no clue what would have happened.
Should I reinstall??? is that ever something that works?

There's no need to uninstall and reinstall the game since the only issue that you have us you can't connect to the game servers. As for the steps in the link, I already tried them they worked. Some players also used those steps and it also resolved there issue.
I did it all, disabled firewall, enabled UPNP, did all 3 port forwards 3074 3075 3076 and all UDP
restarted router, STILL GET ERROR.

The server is down and Activision needs to fix it. They should not make it seem like its our fault!
