Since it is tax season, well at least in the colonies it is. I was wondering what percentages people around the world are paying for their hard earned dosh.
Well I don't have to pay any taxes on one of my jobs because I make less than $1,000 per year from it and I just started the other one so I would guess 20% maybe less when I start making more, but most of that tax money goes to social programs that I will never get a dime of for obvious reasons.
I make about $40,000 a year, pay about $6-7,000 in taxes and usually wind up getting $3,000 back. So I say it works out pretty good for me.
That is a nice income compared to the $11,000 I would be making a year.
I wished it were more. Lol (we all do...) but it pays the bills and keeps a roof over my wife and three kids heads so I can't complain.
Well you do have to worry about a lot more than me considering my main worry is paying for college, not providing for other people.
Paying for college these days is just like paying to raise a family. Lol. Each are important.
True, but my other job will reimburse me for one semester's payments(the one I just got), including books, but you have a lot more to worry about considering how things are these days.
I don't pay tax yet as I am 17 and don't have a job.
I reviewed my patents tax statement from their account. It was about 12.4%
