These modes aren't fun to acquire and are more tedious than anything. I thought there was enough backlash about these Hardcore modes from the last 3 fucking Clan Wars.
Hardcore TDM is a painstakingly slow, campy game.
Hardcore S&R is full to the brim with connection advantage kills.
Hardcore KC is similar to TDM
Hardcore Dom is more annoying than anything else.
Don't remember reading any complaints about Hardcore modes in Clan Wars except for people asking FOR them.
WHAT!? Dude, I couldn't stop hearing about it! I'm not active here, but why would anybody ask for Hardcore? It makes 0 sense and hardcore is usually one of the last nodes to be taken.
I found the opposite to be true. I have participated in every clan war, and the HC nodes have been the first to be taken almost every time.
Uh, you have some logic issues going on.
IF (your evidence is anecdotal) teams are taking HC nodes first, it is probably due to the fact that Beachhead puts HUGE incentives into the Clan Wars game to play those nodes.
If anything, Beachhead's very own actions speak volumes about just how disliked some of these game modes are. Beachhead has to bribe people to play them, and put huge disincentives into popular nodes like TDM and Dom. Reality is, most people don't like some of these camp-fested inflicted game modes like HC TdM and KC, but play them because clans want to win.
And Beachhead is doing this bribing because they need a lot of game modes to make the node-sytem work. You can't play a ClanWars with only three or four nodes, it would be lame.
I think they try to balance it out somehow. Not sure that it works but whatever. Or maybe trying to get us to play modes that nobody likes to play. I absolutely hate HC but have to play during CW.
Exactly if anything core should be taken out instead of HC. HC makes you a waaaay better player too. But I wouldn't know I can't join these clan wars thanks to the glitch in the system right now.
