High Relic Run

SOLVED

Ghosts Extinction

I have been trying to improve the number of relics I use on solo POC, so far I have managed to complete it with 6 relics, but over the last two days I have been trying 7 relics. I have tried a total of 9 games, and out of those games I have got to the last hive on 7 occasions, which initially I was quite happy with, now I am getting a little frustrated with not being able to complete it!!!

The relics I am not using are, smaller wallet, no machines & earn your keep, which I thought would give me the best opportunity to complete the map, but now I am not sure

My loadout is: grach pistol, incendiary ammo, feral, vulture & riot shield (I don't use the GT, not a fan). By the time I get to the last hive all of these items have been fully upgraded but I still can't get passed the last hive

Can anyone enlighten me where I may be going wrong, or suggest different relics or loadout

Many thanks

If your not a fan of the gt then use the crippled weapon specialist strategy. Use all the relics but Mortal, Pistols only, and Earn your keep. Use weapon specialist, grach, ammo of your choice(My favorite is armor piercing),  and armor. Use the AK-12 with this loadout and you should do fine.

For 7 relics solo PoC I reccommend using all the relics but Earn Your Keep, No Machines and Stand your ground. Run grach, any ammo, armor, sentries and grenade turret. It should go nice and simple.

I thought about running armour but I thought feral would be better for the run back, guess that's on of my problems. Also I am not a fan of the GT

What Jon said. If you really don't like using a grenade turret either run that strategy or just try and try again with yours if you have the patience.

I recommend the Bulldog and VKS with the upgrade from pistols, Incendiary (or CSA if you have it), and then Armour. I prefer to use Magnums, but all of this just comes down to personal preference anyway.

Thanks for the help, just played solo on POC using the 7 relics and loadout you suggested, completed it with no downs yippee. So thanks once again for your great advice. Now I am going for 8 relics, which 2 would you advise me not to use?

I would say to use a gt method for 8 unless you have cryptid slayer ammo. If you have cryptid slayer ammo, you can try running everything but earn your keep and do less damage. Use magnums with pistol arks and you can still take out enemies fast. Its hard but possible. I did this 8 relic strategy for hardcore so its definently possible for regular.

I don't have CSA yet, so looks like I will need to do some training on the GT, once again thanks for you advice
