Agreed, but they did do it for Sony Exclusives: The Resistance Series, SOCOM, M.A.G. Brink and the first 2 KILLZONES. But I think there Server Farms are very different to what Microsoft are putting forward?
Sony still have their Server Farms and they are being upgraded and are active.
Microsoft are going big for cloud computing, this massive investment enables all Microsoft platforms to utilise cloud features, it wasn't implemented just for Xbox but all of MS.
This makes me laugh every time.
Fair enough, but it doesn't really add anything to the discussion
yea amen to that , if it helps with connection issues, im not sure what it really means as ive never had the privilege on playing a game that has dedicated servers or constant strong connection . peace
BO2 already has dedicated servers but as you can see it doesn't matter. If their p2p setup was good enough dedis would not matter. Just saying. People act like dedicated servers fix all lag problems or something. I think the main thing that hurt BO2 matchmaking the most was that they separated people based on skill and the map packs you had so you constantly ran into the same people you had a mediocre connection with.
Now considering testing has been done by multiple people it's not a lie. People just like complaining and think dedicated servers fix all lag issues when they don't.
