i like to let these games load up nice and slow though, rushing through the menu's always caused me problems.
What kind of problems?
Whenever I have a moderate NAT, it's usually after I was just gaming on another console.
It's cumbersome, but if I really need an Open NAT to join more game types, I log into my router, turn off uPNP, and then back on. It frees up the ports and then my Wii U is on an Open NAT.
Sorry man, but I can't find where it shows different ports for different consoles. Ports are not designed to be specific to one piece of hardware (like Wii U uses 1078 or whatever), the same port range is the same for all consoles
slower than normal reported connection and/or moderate nat...
I remember you saying something like that before, I tried it and again, made no difference. I'm starting to think you have some OCD issues lol, yeah jk mate
yeah i do kinda. but ive noticed two waves of mii's coming down, i think the second is all your friends. if i start up a game quick when i eventually come back to the main menu they are where they were and begin to filter down to the plaza. i just let everything including the main menu load up nice and slow.
I play better, or have connection advantage, on Moderate Nat for some reason. Yes, its laggy. But maybe I am too skippy to be shot at. I can usually just run through the maps at free will.
