3 route linear maps are what made this game great. I don't need 40 flanking routes coupled with awful spawns. The fast paced game that is COD has died with this title.
Oh and SR's should be obsolete but that's for another discussion.
I played the first game in the series but if you're referring to the first multiplayer it was COD3 but COD4 remains king. Its been all down hill from there.
See that surprises me, as this feels more like COD4 to me than any of the rest.
Its a shame you aren't enjoying it, I imagine its more down to the players than the game itself tho.
Campers are annoying and do slow the game down I must admit.
Are you going to entertain the DLC? A couple of smaller maps I think?
I'm done entertaining COD all together. I will simply wait for Titanfall which is made by the guys who know how to make a COD game.
I understand where you are coming from - BO2 nearly stopped me from buying Ghosts.
The same guys that came up w OMA & DeathStreaks. yep those guys.
3 route linear maps are what made this game great.
I don't find the maps to be that big. Besides Stonehaven, every other map is fine. The Campers are the ones that slow the game down. The campers that will sit inside the tower on prisonbreak, not trying to snipe or get kills. They just sit there the entire match hoping somebody goes up there. Those campers are terrible.
For any mode 6v6 these maps are simply too large and complex to create any type of flow to the game
The physical dimensions on some of these may not be large, but the structures and multiple levels make them play too big for what COD should play like.
I own Ghosts on both the XBOX 360 and XBOX One. I can tell you that ground war does not make ANY difference on most of the maps. All it does is create more angles you can get shot from when moving. The whole layout of the maps in this game is utter garbage. There is ZERO flow to them and WAY too many routes to take.
