Please Nerf IEDs

Ghosts XBOX 360

You need to aim your gun at your opponent. Additionally, a person can outgun you with quicker reflexes and better accuracy.  IED you can't do much against it if placed in a concealed spot, except use sitrep or blast shield.  IED required zero skill for the kill. IED takes 1 slot.  Sit Rep and Blast Shield both require two.

Yesterday, I used the following explosives class:

Primary: MTAR, Grip and Rapid Fire

Secondary: Kastet

Lethals: IEDs x2

Perks: Ready Up, Focus, Extra Lethal, Danger Close

Strike Package: Sentry Gun, Battle Hind, Chopper Gunner

General Strategy was to get 4 easy kills with my explosives, Run and Gun for 3 more Kills, Get the Sentry Gun and stacks streaks for the Air Power.

For trolling, I'd find a room with two entry ways, put IEDs at each egress and fire my unsuppressed weapon and draw the dot chasers to a cheap IED death.

The IED is a grief weapon, that requires you to run a specific perk to avoid death.  I see people bringing up that they have classes like blind eye and off the grid to avoid Sat-Coms and Enemy IA.  The difference between those situations is you have to earn Sat-Coms and IA controlled streaks.  I am not proposing to make the IED totally useless, what I am suggesting is to give a player a chance to avoid it without resorting to using blast shield.  Maybe increase the audible range of when the IED is heard?  The way its set now... Why even make it beep?  By time you've heard it you are dead in a blink of an eye.

Totally agree

Tonight I died from 2 IED and I had sit rep and the IED did not glow up, it stayed black, but still beeped and I died.

IW, you are just crap at making balanced games. You just have no idea.

This has happened a few times.

If the game cant be balanced I will join them.

2 IED and camp my ass off with a  noob tube and danger close and amplify.

If I annoy enough people maybe they will balance it,

The ieds only do 90 damage in most cases not enough to even kill some one the danger close perk ads 50 damage and that will kill most people trying to rush your spot

You guys got to understand that the people killing you with ieds gave up a very big part of there perks to be able to do so
