Today I decided to purchase the Season Pass for Ghosts so I bought a $50 gift card. I was very suprised to see this was not enough money when I attempted to buy the Season Pass. It seems Microsoft are now charging tax but refuse to say how much. It appears they expect me to buy another $15 dollar gift card to purchase this DLC, this is not going to happen.
I have no idea what your saying. The Microsoft Store charges tax now on purchases so my post was meant to inform anyone thinking of buying the Season Pass with a gift card they will be required to spend $65 to make a $49.99 purchase, hence the scam.
What I am saying is that there is no tax. I bought the season pass with a $50 gift card. It says it includes tax but it doesn't. I bought the season pass yesterday.
Well maybe its only here in Canada, but it clearly states I don't have enough with $51 in my account. It references the tax as a possible reason.
They have been charging tax for years on their products. Back when you could buy MS points they still charged you tax on the purchase.
Like when I bought points the charge wasnt 10 dollars the charge on my card was 10.81.
I think you mean $27.40 Canadian. Though how you figured this has anything to do with what I posted is beyond me.
when i bought mine at gamestop it was $56.00 total at the end. lists for 49.99 plus tax. we have a 9.25 percent sales tax here. so tax on 49.99 should have been around $4.60, so im not sure where they are getting their tax from. i was taxed 6.01 when i bought the season pass here in USA.
