Hello CoD community. Yesterday I got my 1st KEM Strike ever. I used the ripper and the map was Octane. I know that KEM's take 25 gun kills to receive however I got my KEM at 23 gun kills. I know for a fact it was 23 because I finished the game 29-0 (23 Gun kills + 6 kills from the KEM). How is this possible?
Did you use Hardline ?
2 assists with Hardline equals 1 kill and the perk also reduces the needed gun streak to 24.
you got 6 kills with the kem, lucky. The most i ever get is 4 because people either leave or they die right before the kem goes off.
I hate that, every time I get one most of the lobby backs out. If you're bad enough to die that many times and give someone on the other team that many kills, take your extra death as a slap in the face and learn from it. Jeez
I Would guess then that you destroyed some of the enemies equipment - shot a dog or squadmate, ied sentry gun any of those things ,,
Were you playin KC or DOM or objective based game mode and collected tags or captured a flag? if not I agree with OUHATEME. 29-0 is one hell of k/d!! Good work!
You had to have been using Hardline, because otherwise it's 25 gun kills or no KEM. You may have thrown it into your bonus as a filler without thinking about it.
When I started getting better, I was still running without Hardline (habit from MW3, where it was automatically unlocked with the bonus), and it cost me an awful amount of KEMs at 24 kills, and others where I probably would have done with the record number of assists I was racking up.
Now I always ensure it's either in my bonus or my starting perks. I just managed to squeeze in a 21 kill KEM on TDM the other day before the score limit was reached (I joined late), only because I had 6 assists. Most of those came at the start of the game, where some irritating kid on my team was trying to glue himself to my hip, following me around and stealing my kills as a result lmao -_-
