you could never cross platform play to begin with for any game.
You've apparently never heard of Shadowrun.
Screw matchmaking. I'm done with it. If they don't implement a server browser, I'm not buying it.
There are just too many unaswered questions about this quite honestly.
So how does the M$ thing work. Someone mentions "skill based", but that is doubtful, who is M$ to determine skill? What are they going to use, Gamer Score? The Xbone unveil did mention that the days of hosting on consoles was over. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if M$ made it virtually impossible for games to be developed that way anymore and that all games needed to run through their server service (if one truly exists). I mean look at the way M$ is treating the consumer side of this and it is not wild to assume that they are going to be doing the same to the dev/publication side of it as well.
Indeed, many questions. Given there has been scant information from ms or IW on any improvement in netcode. Perhaps E3 will shed light.
HA gallp is right again.......DEDIS DEDIS DEDIS.......so loving my new xb
No gurantee it will be for actual game play, it could just be for certain aspects of the game such as the enviroment effects and not the actual game itself.
