My gripe is, it cheapens the game and is EXTREMELY boring to play when everyone is just too scared to move.
It sounds to me like your gripe is, I don't like it when other players don't play the way I want them to play.
Also, your rank in whatever gives no validity to your opinions.
I've played in top 1000 lobbied from day one. 1 out of 100 games you see maybe one good camper. If your getting camped on your not focusing on the numbers on the score board. Why aren't you calling out someone has 4 kills?..we need to stop him ...he might have ims or dog don't attack door way.....7 kills...he has trinity or sentry..10 kills hind... But thats awareness.
Did you change to support so you could see him and counter everything he could throw out?
Thats why you moved on because you can't handle strategy. Stay in free for all lobbies if you don't want tatics. The object is to win on a team level.
I was looking forward to Ghosts 2 and actually surprised when they announced Infinite Warfare last spring. I guess it kinda made sense because there was a lot of hate towards Ghosts. I just hope the devs are passionate about what they're creating. I wasn't impressed with the multi beta and will obviously have a much better idea of the quality of the game after a few months and play the campaign and zombies.
What i don't think is a good idea is Infinity Ward jumping back and forth between a series. Either stick to the same series or keep changing it up with a completely new title. Either way I think it's a bit early determining the future for Infinity Ward after beta impressions. Lets see how Infinite Warfare plays out. Then again... if we are having a true 3 year cycle... then Infinity Ward has to start developing the new title next week.
Here's a crazy thought. How about the next CoD theme be based on the Korean War or the Vietnam War?
I'ld like that very much... but not like how the Black Ops series did Vietnam/Cold War but more like Full Metal Jacket immersive.
I was also looking forward to Ghosts 2. Although I don't agree with all the hate Ghosts got, I do agree that Ghosts lost nearly half of its consistent player base about half way through its life-cycle. However, towards the end of its cycle there were still 40K plus playing on the 360. Around half that on the One.
If we see a return of great connections/ping based matchmaking (not region based, NAT type based or otherwise), Cranked and the specialist package and no death streaks, I would love to buy Ghosts 2. That is assuming the maps are greatly improved, the frame rate is more stable and it's not a bore fest with people laying prone in their spawn with thermal no recoil fully auto 100 round drum mag sniper rifles 😅
It would also be nice to see it follow the trend in the last few games with slower TTK. Ghosts had marvellous hit detection which was a double-edged sword because time to die was faster as a result, despite weapons being far weaker than in MW3. TTK wasn't the problem, but it wasn't adjusted for the fact guns didn't fire "blanks" anymore. If you took damage/fire rate from BO3 or even BO2 weapons and combined it with Ghosts connections it would be the best CoD title for gunplay to date bar none.
But I doubt we'll see a death streak/specialist/combat rig-less game ever again, nor one without supply drops, because profit is love and profit is life for Activision.
@RL317 you're not kidding about Ghosts having great connections. Me and 2 friends have all the cross console coop world records for extcintion in ghosts with the help of 2 other guys. Basically, in all our games we would have me in Georgia, a buddy in Michigan, another in Hawaii, and another in rural U.K., and we didn't have issues with lag. I was really hoping they would continue the extinction story with this game instead of zombies, but I know it wasn't as popular even though a lot people actually liked it even if they didn't like multiplayer.
I've maybe been spawn trapped 100 times out of 200,000 rounds I've played. Thats not a typo. thatsaid 200k
M27s cant beat a rapid fire weapon. Those people are smart. Those weapons in real life are lane controlers. That's why they do mow stuff or force it on the edges. Same when I snipe high places. It forces people ro edges. Then my team work them.
There's no sense in going time anything. it's a modern based game. The maps in the map packs are loaded with details. I dare you to try them.
Support streaks allow someone who solo lobby to compete. Almost all those guys who run kill streaks for kills can't gun or strategy. Without the dog getting the sentry gun and it get helo or battle hind. Drop them and all of of sudden their a 12 and 9 guy
Ghosts 2 shoukd be our generation of war. Build on what we have .
