Looking forward to the release of this game. Loved CoD4 back in the day and can't wait to get my hands on the remastered version.
On PC was wondering if/what anti cheat system will be in place? Anyone able to answer or point me in the direction of any details?
Thanks for the reply Revo, but just for clarity, are you saying that there will be no anti cheat system dedicated to CoD4 Remastered and the game will rely soley on the "new security features"? Are you able to expand on this (obviously without giving too much away). Does the new security features work like FairFight for example?
You didn't answer the question. He wanted to know what Anti-cheat program MWR is going to be using, i.e. Punkbuster, Fairfight, etc. Maybe Activision wants it to be kept secret?
Regardless, hackers will always find a way around anti-cheats and are still very common in every PC game, regardless of what measures the company takes against them. Hopefully you guys will be active enough with bans to scare away most cheaters who aren't willing to pay $80 just to reroll a new account. lol
the new anticheat is called
hope and pray just like blackops 3 was more bull to make you think it got anticheat
Returned the game and got a full refund from Steam. Lack of anti cheat is just one reason. Such a shame was so looking forward to this title, but sick of the poor quality of CoD titles on PC now. Bought BF1 instead. Not perfect by any means, but compared to MWR it's night and day.
I want to let you notice the fact that i played 4 games now in a raw (Cod4 Remastered HD) and searching infos about anticheat system because, i've played 3/4 games with and against cheaters.
I really think you lie really hard because you gain a lot of money with the series of Call of Duty and you really don't mind a lot about let the users have fun.
I compare you to Ubisoft, same thing:
-Don't mind about users and players thoughts
-Made a new game
