This sounds dangerously close to a class system. I'm not a fan of having weapon options (or worse, perks) limited to the class selection. And REALLY don't want weapon limitations to the faction. One of the things I don't dig about Battlefield.

Keeping an open mind, though...

That's my opinion but it should be yours ;-),

Tough *****. All CODs before COD 4 were faction specific weapons and they played fine.

I know that health regeneration is coming back to multiplayer, I just sincerely hope that regeneration is not dependent of me, or any one of my teammates, running med packs, or playing as a medic. Sure, making sure regeneration is only possible via medpacks may add to the reality factor, but at too high of a cost.

SledgeHammer has proven they are not afraid of taking CoD in a new direction. Unfortunately, last time they went a new route, they kind of took it to the extreme, even though I liked AW. I don't want to play CoD and feel like in playing Socom.

So do we get 5 pre set classes or  5 semi present classes? Each division one set of perks you can choose from.

It's lacking to much info for giving a opinion about it.

Sounds great change. This is what CoD needed, sort of class based weapon system--like specialists but whole arsenal? However I don't like faction specific weapons, scorestreaks maybe but not the weapons. I usually want to play with couple of my favorite weapons. Unless I get to choose my faction and troops before the match.

Thought, with nothing to back it up.

What if Divisions were the new Specialists? Each one has special skills and tools. Your class setup is basic with weapons and general perks. Your Division specializes you by giving you specific tacticals and lethals, as well as division specific perks and abilities?

I just looked at XclusiveAce's new video, and in the comments section he seemingly revealed the 5 divisions, as well as their "attributes".

It's too early to say exactly how these different divisions will play, but they all seem to have a specific playstyle within each division. Hopefully these divisions will not be limited in terms of which guns are available for each division to use.

Edit- sorry, Nicedrewishfella. I didn't realize you had already posted about the division attributes.

That I could for (I think... HAHAHA) as long as, for example, the anti-radar perk is not division specific. Streaks or something unique to it, cool.

I think...
