Why can posts get deleted for harassment and hate speech?

World War II General Discussion

Call of Duty is rated M for a reason. If you're over 17 and you're getting offended by something someone over text who don't even know said, you're not mature and you don't belong in a forum or anywhere else on the internet for that matter.

Last I checked this was a forum not a safe space...

The Forum has rules. The Campaign is rated M. Interactions in social spaces is not rated. You can be banned in MP for offensive Emblems and even for Offensive Speech. There is a Code of Conduct.

But this forum has specific rules. If you can't abide by them, you shouldn't participate.

There is no "Safe Space", since you have to use that ridiculous talking point. But there are rules and civility is expected. You violate that, you face consequences.

If that is hard for you, perhaps you need to find a "safe space" of your own that isn't in a social setting with rules and expected levels of behavior.

Part of living in any community is following the rules and laws that govern that community.

Harassment and hate speech is more than just offensive.

People will get offended when you say you don't like a specific weapon or map.

Harassment is for example when you attach people for their opinion.

And as an adult you should know to stay away from hate speech and harassment. If you can't you should stay away from the forum.

If you don't understand how conducting yourself with a certain level of civility and respect iand expecting the same from others is mature,,,

,,, then the immature person is you.

You're welcome.

That's my opinion but it should be yours ;-),
