(not a reply to you dtuchpunk, just wanted to be at the end Smiley Tongue)

At the end of that boring drawn out video with them cutting the IIII, anyone else notice the specialists from BO3? One of the very few things I liked about WW2 was that they got rid of them silly specialists/rigs...or was that BO3 gameplay? Either way, I hope they leave them out..not really a make or break for me, but I'm not a huge fan of freebie kills..rather just have death streaks back lol...

I'm slightly excited for it...always liked the BOs series...great maps making for not so boring replayability, and 'mostly' balanced gameplay kept me at them games for most of their cycle (except BO3, but I traveled a lot that year)...just have to hope online experience is good (mm, connections, balance, etc..) that will ultimately be my deciding factor no matter how awesome the game is...

Wonder why the ~3 week early release...maybe to put this, still broken game, WW2 in the past as soon as possible lol...

I'd imagine since they are boldly going for an earlier release they should have everything in working order by launch...but then again it's sorta been the norm to have stuff 'coming soon' lately...I think they fully know what they want in the game though, unlike how I always had the feeling IW was a bit rushed and had changes done prior to launch, and I felt WW2 had major last minute changes, like how they wanted to do variants..I honestly think they initially intended them to be stat altering, and not cosmetic only..that may have taken away resources prior to finishing touches, and why a lot felt the game was unfinished at launch (just my 2 cents fwiw)

Earlier probably to be in front of other A games.

As long they don't go to crazy with sci fi it might by oke.

Before the 3 advance movements cod they where pushing it.

The swarm for example.

The BO4 release is a bit peculiar. It's going to impact the playability of WW2 unless SHGs releases their dlc4 early as well.

Imo the sooner the release the better. I have gone back to BO3 to complete the camo challanges as I am overdosed on IW ( which imo is a good game apart from connection issues). Ww2 is to me a really boring let's say a dull experience and the maps omg, where do we start there lol.

Specialist abilities, I'm not bothered either way, They can be fun and annoying. I would personally say leave them out.

As an Infinity ward fan boy ( which I admit). I actually see that the remaining staff there are not really creating the games like they did like MW2 and 3. We had ghosts and IW, good games imo but not great like previous titles.
Treyarch are now the no1 cod developer and I am excited for bo4. Maybe it's because SH need to quit trying to make games and amalgamate with a company or just quit altogether. I would actually like to see Infinity ward do a botg cod next year that is from the Vietnam era and then judge what direction the company is going. All in all I see the next two titles BO4 and the next Infinity ward game being the way the franchise is going. If both are enjoyable then we have promise for the future, if they are as bad as ww2 and aw then I see the franchise suffering.
The next Battlefield game has got serious hype and I can't wait, plus who knows what Respawn ent ( aka old Infinity ward) will release as well.

That video only showed older games in it not new footage of the next installment. They have to rush the next game for two reasons. 1 is WW2 killed the fan base because alot of people quit playing or barely play because of technical issues and boredom. 2 well battlefield and red dead redemption 2 will be out and if you have three big titles in one month, the smartest thing to do would sell first because not everyone has 180$ (US currency) to spend and we all want to buy stuff when it first comes out so getting out first would help. My biggest worry is it being rushed/unfinished like ww2 and to be honest I wish mw2 would be remastered over WAW. WW2 with WAW would of been better it gives fans options to play older era titles and if you didn't like WW2 like me I can always go back to what I liked. So I'm guessing the next game will be bundled with WAW and we'll be charged 80$ but if they learned a lesson from the last bundle selling bundled and seperate would be smarter so you don't alienate people who just want one of the two. I have been saying I'm done with cod but if this is going to be the only cod worth playing the next three years it would be a trey arch game out of the three developers so I might end up seeing if this game is worth buying but if not I have battlefield and red dead 2 to fall back on no more pre ordering cod games for me.

I'll put my $5 in to get the beta access, it can be moved to Bf if I decide not to buy.  I don't put much into the BO4 name as BO3 had little relation to BO2.  If it's a good game it will stand on its own.  BO3 had one of my favorite campaigns of any game so it will likely be worth $60 before mp for me if the same design team is doing the campaign again.

On the mp front, I hope they might learn some lessons that seem to be redone every year.  They start TDM at 75 then move it to 100 later.  The snipers start way op (the BO3 beta being the extreme) then take months to get balanced.  The primary method of balancing is to nerf, nerf, nerf instead of buff when it will help get the balance right so that each gun has advantages in different situations.  If something needed to be changed the last 3 times after release, maybe start there this time instead?
