Which error message are you getting exactly? Also, when did this start happening to you and have you tried any troubleshooting yet?

If you are the host, then you get the memory error. If you joined in then you get a lost connection to host or server error. For me, i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it made no difference. i also checked my connection and no problems there. I have an open NAT type too so i really dont k ow what else to troubleshoot.

Thanks for the response and the information. What platform are you on by the way? There will likely be different options based on your individual platform.

However, if you are on PS4 I'd suggest trying Rebuild Database as well, if you are on PC I'd suggest Verify Integrity, and lastly if you are on Xbox One or PS4 I'd just recommend a hard reset of the console itself. For a hard reset that is just shutting down the console, unplugging it, wait 5 minutes, and then start it back up.

i can give that a shot. But the final reich is the only place this is happening. The other 2 maps have no issues and neither does multiplayer. How would a hard reset solve that sort of problem?

Hard reset essentially it just refreshing everything and suprisingly it can help with a great many issues as long as they are the temporary sort, not long term errors. Unfortunately, that memory error people mentioned is generally a long term one.

  • I'm experiencing this memory error/loss of host usually at waves 3 or 4 on final reich, but as well as on darkest shore. I can't get past wave 2 95% of games. I'm missing consumables, but never xp after a DC. I've also noticed the cutscene before you start in darkest shore no longer has any audio. I even went 14 rounds as a spectator on one match that worked but the match wouldn't respawn me. All of these started after the shamrock and awe update. So far I have not experienced any issues on groesten house, just 100% can't play final reich and darkest shore disconnects 9 out of 10 games after round 2 or 3.

You keep asking for information.... we are telling you what we know!!! What are you expecting us to do????? We are all giving you the error messages and clearly explaing what we are experiencing during game play. We don’t know your job.... only you do. So please help us. That’s all we are asking. Because at the moment all of these fine people are trying to play your product and we can’t because it’s broken. Not every so often but consistently EVERY game.

Why don't the developers from Sledgehammer or Activision log in to Zombies in a Public Match so they can see for themselves how bad it really is?

Hey there,

We are asking for information because it is being investigated. All of that information is being used to create reports that are relayed up to SHG so they can check into fixing the underlying issues causing these memory errors. Unfortunately there are multiple memory errors that are occuring in multiple ways in different modes, maps, rounds, and instances.

Some players have been able to fix those through just restarting their console (or verify on PC) or through reinstalling the game, but it is inconsistent and unfortunately we haven't seen any single fix or workaround that has worked for most people. I understand it is frustrating and we are, on multiple fronts, working on gathering information on this issue to help SHG resolve this bug. So, thank you everyone who has shared their information.

If anyone does run into troubleshooting that works for them in resolving this error please do share here so others may be able to benefit from it. For now, we are waiting for updates about the issue and do not require any additional information from everyone, but thanks again everyone who has been reporting these errors.
