It's really not worth arguing over it, I done alittle test the other day, I puposely lost my knife, then played two solo games, I NEVER opened any doors NEVER brought any perks NOTHING, No PAP. Just shot thr fcuk out of the zombies untill my k/d was surpassed then killed myself. Twice i done this and knife returned, simalar things had been happening so i thiought i'd put it to the test.
My k/d is fairly high, so My opinion is the higher your k/d the more you have to surpass your k/d to advance to the next emblem. I also believe your kills need to be above a certain number along ith another couple of contributing factors....
This is only my opinion: critism welcome good or bad.......peace.....
Thank you for letting me know. One of my earlier theories was that it was kills divided by downs divided by games played; however if you perform the same each time, or poorer, the number keeps on dropping, which would mean you keep having to perform better each time. I haven't seen any reports of people dropping in levels just by playing the same each time, which discounts "kills divided by downs divided by games played". I do agree that there must be a prerequisite of kills or at least something achieved prior to achieving the next emblem.
This is very interesting thus is makes perfect sense, when I got my knife and skull I had played 3 games in a row getting over 1000 kills no higher the 2000. Then at the end of the 3rd game, my rank was increased to knife and skull. Just coming to think about KD, how can it be true, people who start the game freshly with a single bone, go into a game and get 300 kills to 1 down, they have 300 KD which supposedly is the new boundary for shotguns. I dont believe that at all, but this idea you spent time putting up should be rewarded, its a very promising theory and yes maybe the ranking system's full working. BTW the 3 games I played were on public, I have my own theory that playing public games gets you rank ups much more than an other mode, I have never ranked up on solo surprisingly enough, just public games.
and you think thats it? where did he confirmed?
haha there is not one way to rank up, there many ways.
example, game with 3 knifes and 1 skull.
we ****** up in level 13.. game over.
the skull rank had the most kills/score that game (downs were also higher) and after it he ranked up to knife.
next game was bad as well level 18, after this game he was deranked to skull again.
so explain? how is it possible to rank up in level 13 with a couple of downs and lose you rank the game after it when you die on level 18.
Jimmy said the rank is live. I think once you rank up the game expects you to maintain a certain record. If you under perform you'll get deranked. I ranked up to the knife on round 11-13 right after a round 40 solo game on town. That skull probably got some high rounds before and just needed one more game.
