Well it did look as though FaZe Cross was having a hard time with the snipers in that gameplay. He was not getting many multi kills or feeds.
and there is exactly why removing qs is a good thing.. the aim of the game is NOT to get multikills and feeds
If sniping doesn't change much between Gamescom and release then snipers wouldn't have any problems. FaZe Kross got a quad feed before the game has even released, so snipers will not have a problem.
From what I saw in Faze Kross' video, sniping looks like it operates as it should. Your scope comes up to your view quicker so you can shoot sooner. What could POSSIBLY be wrong with that?
If the quickscopers are still upset after seeing that video, then all I can say is that I see nothing but total disrespect coming from them for other COD players and the community as a whole. As a sniper, you can't possibly want more then what is shown. All classes should incorporate a learning curve requiring improving skills and tactics as a part of leveling your character and your weapon. We're not playing Mario Brothers here.
I like COD because of the challenge needed to improve my abilities to get better and score better over time. Why else play the game if you're not improving over time? Any technique that speeds up the ability to kill without truly improving your skills - which is what quickscoping represents to me - does not belong in COD. Any attempt to include such shortcuts in COD will ultimately lead to its demise. Like teeny tiny maps ala BO2 would surely kill off COD it they continued to appear in future COD titles. If you don't agree, welcome to the purpose of discussion forums.
I actually agree. If snipers have to be fully scoped in before they can kill effectively then I'm fine with that. The type of QSing I hate is where they bring the scope up for a fraction of a second and get a kill without even having to scope in. It's just ridiculous and shouldn't be possible in a game.
And I DEFINITELY agree about tiny maps! I hate them. One or 2 is ok but a game full of them is just rubbish.
